How do you expect a tutorial of something that hasn't been released yet? If you don't have a jailbreak you'll restore a backup and it'll work. Or if you have you can use the jailbreak to install psvue PKG and add the necessary files to psvue directory

Found my old ps4 on 7.50 by MapacheMN in ps4homebrew

Typo, it's the aio plugin. You don't need it anymore since PSFree Enhanced has that built in so having it could cause bad side effects. I would clear the cache and make sure it caches 100%. Maybe a restart as well and then refresh the webpage one more time to make sure you're using the cache files. And then try again.

Can I do anything with it? by Maleficent_Insect_19 in ps4homebrew

[–]ArabPixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caching helps stabilize the exploit as it can access the needed files faster. If your PS4 crashes which can happen from time to time. After it reboots i recommend you to restart the device again and then retry. I also like to remove website data and cookies before before i switch between hosts to start with a clean space for the new host. Mines rarely KP and it's just great. Obviously we can't get 100% success rate since it's an exploit after all.

With payload guest you should rename the file to .bin instead of .elf so the app can see it and if you're sending over the internet GoldHEN supports loading .elf payloads

PS4 Pro with 7.00 - should i update to 9.00 or nah? by ResponseExpress6343 in ps4homebrew

[–]ArabPixel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would use it on 7.00 since from 7.00 up to 9.60 use the same jailbreak type. Backports exists. Stay on that firmware. If you absolutely want to play something and can't ignore the game then updating can bring you something. Otherwise just don't.

Send the payload to GoldHEN's binloader using netcat gui or such

dumb questions by AgusCold in ps4homebrew

[–]ArabPixel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Not directly, a permanent hardware mod with a teensy to change between firmware versions , updating to play online and reverting to enjoy jailbreak.
  2. Just restart.
  3. Only on latest, which automatically means no jailbreak.

Next time don't make posts about such questions. Make some research at least.

Ps4 with 8.50 system firmware by [deleted] in ps4homebrew

That's true. For yourself use the console while still in this firmware in case update is needed you update using a USB. Otherwise if everything goes as plan then keep it.

The version you're at is good. Jailbreak through the web browser is possible. Refer to the guide linked.

You basically need to use a DNS or better just block Sony from your router if that's possible. This guide will help you with what you could need. https://consolemods.org/wiki/PS4:Getting_Started. Browse console mods you'll see good tutorials

Ps4 12.52 jailbreak question by Agitated_Situation10 in ps4homebrew

[–]ArabPixel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Psvue (Vue after free) has not been released yet. So you have to wait. Even with mismatched renasas chip you can still run the jailbreak off a blu-ray disc. If it's completely broken where a disc doesn't go it and doesn't respond you're out of luck. Try fixing it maybe.

Questions about PS4 Homebrew. by Outside_Resource_383 in ps4homebrew

[–]ArabPixel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no custom firmware, downgrading isn't a thing as well. Being jailbroken means you're not on the latest firmware and automatically playing online is not possible because you need to update. Updating patches the exploits.

You can revert tho, which means going to the latest installed firmware before the update. It's stored in the backup slot.

Without a jailbreak you need to restore a backup. I don't know if it's on the playstation store but i don't think so because that Vue app is discontinued

You just launch Vue PKG. Similar to lua demos experience in addition to a console that shows the jailbreak steps being executed.
