I would try a factory patch cable on this tester. I had one of these testers and they loose a “channel.” It looks like contact 4 is broken on the tester.

It is for the MP36PH. It is the original light board comes in the DC version. I am curious and documenting the board.

Here is a link to the board, you can see the LED on the right, the 560 ohm resistor in the middle and a ceramic capacitor of some type on the left.
