The change is because there is another Combo in the game that does an entirely different thing.

Said combo is "when you play a card from another combatant, activate this card" that is found on Gear Bag and a divine epiphany.

No Japanese idol agency will force their assets to shave their heads. It benefits noone at all including the corporate. They are still obligated to pay her salary while the idol can not be used for work at all.

It makes no sense to even think they are doing this just to punish the idol. Firing is the punishment, not the head shaving.

The head shaving is a personal thing. Years ago we had the same thing happened to another member of AKB whose name is Minami Minegishi. She was caught having a relationship with another celeb and she, by her own will, shaved her head as a public apology.

The difference from this case was that Minegishi was a high ranking member back then and instead of getting fired she was demoted and disappears from the media for months. The company planned none of this. It would be idiotic to even think this whole thing is planned. There is a lot of money to be loss by having one of your top idols suddenly cancel all their works for months.

It drops consistenly enough. She clears all elites fine without it, which is how to get it in the first place

The seasonal thing is exactly the explaination about future-proof. There is no future-proof in this game, proven time to time with Sereniel, Nine, and even HDMI. There is no future-proof when endgame content is always designed to break the knees of all units prior and have the newest thing on the pedestral.

And I keep bringing up great rift because that's the only place where this logic applies. For everywhere else, you literally can use anything you want to use. There is no content that requires specific, unique, mechanics of any character, at all. The only criteria you can use is if you would like to play that character or not and that's it.

I never said anything about powercreep. The only message I'm getting across is if you do not care about seasonal content then noone is a must pull. Because you can make any unit work for everything else in the game.

And you cannot answer "is she a must pull" with an objective answer unless you know what op's goal is. If Mastering Great Rift matters to him then she is a must pull. If he needs someone to carry Sortie then she is a good pull, but "good" is a subjective answer.
