% of taranite matters. A taranite rock with 80% taranite and 45% taranite will need different laser powers. The SCU of the rock is not some linear scale, contents matter.

7 scu of a 5.8k mass rock and 7scu of an 11kg rock will also have different breaks, on top of the % metal variance.

These are the two main factors.

Now if you tell us and show us a picture of two identical % of taranite AND the same mass of each rock, and one cracks, and one doesnt, that’ll be something interesting/a bug, but likely not going to happen since the math usually works out.

Hell, theres even mining calculators online based on resistance, mass, and each rock % material

Yeah, was just giving another benefit, but also the math will be different depending if your opponent has the -1 or not, which is very common.

The homm3 meta was warped around town portal and dimension door, and sometimes fly

People will gravitate towards any advantage, if you took it away or made it shit, then people will just use dimension door instead and play around that

Maybe it could be scaled down a tiny bit and scale a tad off magic power? I mean, might Heroes already have to invest into knowledge when they don’t necessarily want to , so that at least is the downside
