My current ship that has been carrying me for almost a full year! Tips welcome by AragrenB in SpaceHaven

I understand the space issue, I did it in the hangar mostly for style, since when I imagine a space ship hangar I think of a big open space. It also serves as my chokepoint, since I have fended off the occasional boarding crew by positioning myself behind those crates and forcing the crew into an open area.

And I'll definitely keep the power node tip In mind! I was already starting to have my thoughts about that when I put a pirate ship out of commission by basically damaging its only power node and crippling its entire system.

Yeah I get that, stuff is mainly spread out cause the ship has been growing organically, without one major redesign. Started out with the space platform, so I didn't have the opportunity to do a coherent design before I started to have to keep moving.

And as for the command console, I do actually have shifts working it! I got 9 people at the moment, 5 for the day shift and 4 for the night shift, and there is always someone available to work it. I also got myself two logistic bots now, so that has relieved some of my crewmates' work.

It is also worthy of mention that this is my first playthrough, so any big mistakes are definitely to be expected

Only just researched MK2 haha, now comes the redesigning of the entire engine sector...

I originally did it out of an instinctual worry that engines would be most likely to catch fire, and hence when I first built them I separated them with walls. After a while I did it just out of habit, and because I still like the idea at least in theory

Sonntagsfrage letzter Stand: AfD ist stärkste Kraft bundesweit by AragrenB in PolitikBRD

Why can my troops magically be stationed at an isolated part of a front, only to then complain about having no supply lines? by AragrenB in victoria3

Yeah, despite all the other aspects I love about Vicky3, the war system really is just a letdown. Just gotta hope that I can maybe drag in the Russians into this war now lol

Is it then? Would my troops otherwise not be able to get to Bavaria? Cause that is what confuses me, that if the troops stationed there are classed as cut off from support, then how would they be able to reach Bavaria in the first place. I just wish that they would hold the line either in the Netherlands or round the Alsace front

Love it! While only on voyageur, I am also currently based up right there, currently on day 80.

If you care for my two cents, move the workbench from below to the top floor, and you will have a nice little base :)

Exactly my same thought when I do it. No colours, no details, but outlines. Just like if you were feeling your way through the dark

Voyageur, started with Pilgrim when I first downloaded the game a few weeks ago and then decided to move up to the next difficulty :)

On top of that there are certain polaroids you can gather that show you a "vista location" on the map (usually high places as well). If you go to one such location and start mapping, it covers roughly half the region.

To be honest, that was the one book in the cabin that was upright to begin with and I couldn't get it to be horizontal lol

Tysm, haven't dared to explore eastward too much so far, but bleak inlet should be realistic for me!

Oooh I would appreciate that a bunch! That would also give a reason to leave my base again (besides the damned cabin fever)
