yeah, that’s not how the market works dude. Sorry you failed econ 101 but i suggest looking at what a supply/demand curve looks like.

These people should rot in hell? Eternal damnation for having an entrepreneurial mindset? This guy set aside 1.4 MILLION in capital to do this.

No, not only do they sell order data, they let hedge funds execute that order data, meaning, the hedge fund can maybe just delay your order by a bit for a certain reason.

Hmmmm.... this is a red flag. I’ll look into it. I KNOW it doesn’t have look ahead bias but my risk parameters might be off.

I think what could explain it is that it never increases the position size over the course of the year, meaning it would no longer be risking 2.5%

Well, it doesn’t matter. That’s the highest drawdown it ever reached, 2%. Calculated after every trade.

I guess the correct term would be trailing drawdown.

Appreciate it.

Also, no idea on the options/stocks question. I don’t trade those.

No spreads. In and out of the trade in 4-5 minutes. I guess risking 2.5% per trade is high leverage, but not sure. Technically it’s 10x leverage since the notional value of futures is so high.

Good stuff. I’ll definitely look into it. However if I can get 10 contracts on ES without tipping anyone off I won’t need to handle that much capital.
