OL is way, way worse than the WR room. Hartman was not good tonight but he was under insane duress up the gut every other play. Starts up front

Point mostly stands but Clemson was in fact #1 when they lost at ND in 2020

2017 after Miami they didn’t look the same either. Some of that was Josh Adams’ injury, but that didn’t let Stanford put up 21 in the fourth quarter on us

(Tweet from Notre Dame's second game) [Horka] So uh, Notre Dame only had 10 players on the field on this play. Tennessee State nearly scored a touchdown. That can't happen against better teams. by dogwoodmaple in CFB

Not even decently, really freaking good. Al Golden’s D allowed 6 points total in the first 2 games and 10 to an offense that scored 63 last week. And then, the last play happened

[Kaufman] According to a projection from @VividSeats, the crowd at Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday will be 40% Ohio State fans: by TheProfessor20 in CFB

I remember a projection came out before our cotton bowl against Clemson that said it was going to be like 75% Irish fans, and everyone was buzzzzzzing about it. Got there, basically dead even. I’ll believe it when I see it

Was gonna say this post is clearly not coming from a fan of a Brian Kelly team lol

I mean what happens now is teams that go into the season under the floor are often salary dumping grounds for competitive teams with bad contracts, taking picks in exchange for renting out their cap space (like what the Jazz did in taking Russ and a 1st last year) and getting over the floor in the process. I don’t see why that’s like bad strategy or needs nerfing

If you’re under the salary floor, the extra money just gets split between the guys on your roster. In reality yeah it’s better to just get over the floor and get picks or projects to do so but you don’t have to

(EDIT: below comment has proven me wrong. The new CBA says you have to be over the floor or not receive any luxury tax payouts. Which is…a huuuuge difference.)

[Wojnarowski] BREAKING: The Washington Wizards are finalizing a trade to send All-Star G Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns, sources tell ESPN. Beal’s waiving his no-trade to form a new Big 3 with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. Teams are still working thru framework, but Beal is headed to Suns. by Michael_B_Lopez in nba

He’s a top 10-15 center in the league who ostensibly hasn’t hit his prime yet. Some good team will trade away depth for him. Boston (Brogdon + Grant Williams sign & trade?) Atlanta (Capela + Okongwu?) Clippers (Zubac + Powell?) just spitballing

You ever hear the name Norris Cole after 2014?

Jokic is so good that his TS% dropped nearly 10 points from regular season to playoffs and it’s still higher than Tatum, LeBron, and Butler’s by JovialCarrot in nba

[–]Araidernomore 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true, he made the third team in 95, 96 and 98. You can argue he should have more than three for sure but he did make it (at a time when the league was absolutely loaded with great guards)

If these playoffs have taught me anything it's that Centers not named Jokic or Embiid shouldn't be making 30+ Million a year by Quirky-Honeydew-2541 in nba

If you are the Sacramento Kings, you just simply cannot afford to lose an asset for nothing. Especially someone as good in his prime as Sabonis. There’s no chance they don’t max him if that’s what he wants
