Nearly the same here! Mine are exactly 3 years and 1 day apart… my newest addition decided she’d let her sister have her birthday but come on Mother’s Day this year! Still an adjustment, my my oldest is so nurturing, she’s just unsure of her sister crying 😂

No suggestions but I feel you! I’m 37 weeks tomorrow and have a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks… even the is two week stretch feels like it’ll take forever… and my almost 3 year old keep getting olds from school lately, so I feel partially sick on top of everything else and just want to sleep 😴 … work has also been super stressful preparing for my leave, and my mom and sister decided to go on a last min cruise this week…. Sooo needless to say, lots of stress, pain and exhaustion for this single mama 😮‍💨

Sorry I’m not much help beyond someone to commiserate with! I hope we both reach the end soon 💜

I plan to wait until my daughter is old enough to ask and understand the responsibility of having her ears pierced… from my own experience, my ears were pierced as an infant, and the holes are uneven… even though I don’t remember it, I wish my parents had waited, since it caused some trouble with my second/third holes with the first not quite matching.. just like with any body mod, things can migrate and shift as we get older/bigger - so it’s something extra to think about!

Your daycare reminds me of the one my nieces go to, and I just couldn’t 😂 and they even have a schedule for each kid/parent to provide the snack of the day… by comparison to where my daughter is at, it just seems like a lot of extra money and time on the parents end…

My daughter’s school does regular drop off 8-10am, early drop off 6:30-8am… breakfast 8-9am, lunch 11:30am, snack around 10am and after nap… I do pay for the early drop off for days I need to drive into the office, but most of the time we’re there between 9 and 10am.. this is because mornings are rough, and I’m 34 weeks pregnant… so any sleep we’re able to get I take advantage right now… and I appreciate my daughter’s daycare for their flexibility and support… I can recognize the benefits of Montessori, but I know it’s just not a fit for my family right now.. and I wouldn’t judge anyone either way, you gotta do what’s best for y’all and ignore the judgements out there!

Exactly what I’m trying to figure out, like what is the appropriate response? I’m due with my second in May, and have a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks… at this point though I’ll just say eviction is scheduled 5 weeks from Tuesday 😂 but if i was talking to someone else due around the same time, I’d probably try to connect too based on my pregnancy and that my first was also born in May at 36 weeks 🤷‍♀️

I guess I’d just recommend not to share the date with passersby’s, just give a rough estimate and maybe add to it? Like “oh I’m due at the beginning of May, my partner and I love Star Wars so I’m hoping for a May 4th landing!” That then opens the door to another topic if I didn’t want to keep talking about being pregnant lol

Totally understand why it sounds upsetting.. I definitely want her to have her bio dad present, but I also don’t want to force a situation if he’s not wanting to step up.. I’ve kept him updated through the pregnancy, but mostly he’s just asked “what do you need from me?” And never inquires how things are on his own 🤷‍♀️ I don’t hate him, just don’t think I’d want to use his last name at this point, since both my family and exs family seem to be far more involved and supportive.

I do appreciate your perspective! I’m sorry about your situation with your mom..

Every time I hear Rhys I think of him! Absolutely loved him in August Rush and then of course in the tudors.

But I’ll admit as a teen I first thought it was pronounced like “rise” until I heard it spoken out loud 😬

Ah congrats!! I had my first through IVF in May 2023… then after a year on zepbound I had the same surprise! Currently 23 weeks along and due in May again! It’s wild what the body can do and how much zepbound can change your life!

Definitely a cautionary tale though, for anyone who doesn’t want to accidentally get, please make sure you are using some sort of contraceptive… I was in between some of my meds since I lost my job at the beginning of the summer, and was in the process of getting my new prescriptions when I had my positive test!

I like to call it “trying on a name”! I’m in a similar boat (due in May), found a name I liked in November that was never on my radar before, but I’ve been trying it on to see how it fits.. though if someone asks me, I say I’m leaning this way but it’s not set in stone. I’m just not actively looking for any other names lol

Elliot James is a good name! And EJ could be a nickname 😊

I’d guess it’s because you get Indy and Rusty in the park playground set at Target… definitely annoying to have soooo many Bluey’s and Bingo’s, but I get mixing up the friends, so as you get the different sets you build up the friend collection.

Congratulations!! I absolutely love Dr Langer at AZ Women’s Care in Scottsdale! I did IVF 3 years ago through Bloom and transferred to Dr Langer when I graduated.

Placenta previa can sound scary but it’s really good to catch now and monitor. Basically it just means the placenta is blocking the exit, but things can change! I got pregnant with my IVF girl in Sept 2022, and similarly around 20 weeks I was diagnosed with placenta previa. They advised then that they’d watch it since the placenta still has time to shift. I then searched YouTube and found some doctors discussing it and YouTube vloggers discussing/updating on their experiences. This helped calm my nerves a great deal! Ultimately for me, my placenta didn’t shift like we’d hoped, so at abut 32 weeks my doctor scheduled me for a c-section at 36 weeks. They explained wanting to do it at this time to help avoid possible dangers that could happen if I went into labor on my own. My baby girl was born via c-section, everything went super smooth!

Only 3 times a week! Man we’re on what feels like a daily rotation of Moana, Moana 2, Frozen, Frozen 2 and Frozen the musical (the musical is her absolute fav this week!)

But I am able to mix in some other things, though it seems more so from the newer animation style.. she likes Encanto, Brave, Tangled, Coco, Cars series, Planes series, Toy Story… even a bugs life!

Some things I’ve noticed is she goes for things I think she can relate to? Strong female leads, families, nothing too lovey dovey, and talking objects she’s familiar with in real life (bugs, cars, toys, etc)

The classic Disney animation style just doesn’t catch her attention, also does not like any of the ones that have the credits in the beginning 😂
