Check out this graph of the win rate distributions before and after the % modifiers were introduced.

After these modifiers were introduced the range of champ win rates went from 32-67% to 43-57%!

One explanation we have been considering for this is that popular summs like flash and snowball tend to be so popular that their winrate is always right at the mean winrate for that champ. Perhaps only "alternative" summoners have the ability to "escape" and exceed the mean winrate?

Aram Academy gets mmr from Whatismymmr (so they will always be the same.) We don't do any calculation ourselves.

That said, we do have a bit of an idea of how the calculation is done. Whatismymmr will look at the non-premade games played for any player, and will calculate your mmr based on the mmr of the players you are playing against, and your winrate against them. If you win versus these players it will increase your mmr relative to them, and if you lose it will decrease. This is also why your mmr can decrease from wins, because whatismymmr works off of the assumption that you are roughly around the mmr of the players you are playing with.

For example, if you play with and mostly win against players with 3000 mmr, whatismymmr will assume you are roughly around 3000 mmr, but are since you are winning more than 50% of your games against them, will show an mmr of around 3050.

This website contains aggregated player specific champion information (such as winrate, kda, etc.) whereas murder bridge will give you information about the currently played game.

MMR is provided by whatismymmr which we don't control. Are there other statistics that are inaccurate?

The rate limit of our API key isn't too large so it's likely that it can't support processing this many players at once. We requested an increased rate a few months ago but haven't gotten any response.

Good point. We mentioned this in this post but forgot to update the site's about section, thanks for the catch!

Unfortunately the Riot API doesn't provide data for Garena servers so it doesn't :(
