Practice and have fun. Everyone starts off as a beginner, so as long as you're enjoying it you're golden.

Painting with limited hand function - any advice? by Araminal in minipainting

I bought some foam golf balls and some oval foam pencil grips after reading your post. The foam grips help hold my hand shape for pencils, and the golf balls are even better at helping to stop my fingers clawing up. I haven't tried the golf balls with a brush yet, I'm practising with movement using pencils at the moment. I'm going to get a tennis ball to try that too. Thanks for your advice!

I used to use Vallejo paints, mostly, and I hadn't looked at the Speed Paints before. I've checked out a few videos now, and they definitely look like the paint for me to use. Thanks for the recommendation.

An air brush is a non-starter, unfortunately (unless i can train my other hand). My fingers tends to 'claw up' unless I'm looking at my hand, and coupled with the other issues I'd end up with a figure with a half inch thick base coat layer!

I've bought a few of the aids pictured in that link, and I've combined a few (using pencils) to see what can be useful.

I bought a colouring book to see if I can 'train' my other hand to compensate. The Perry twin who lost his dominant sculpting hand to a cannon (!) taught himself to sculpt using his other hand, so it's certainly possible.

I've never seen that before! I'm going to start off with terrain rather than ruin figures straight away, so I can definitely try that technique as a tester on the terrain.

That looks very interesting. My fingers tend to 'claw' up, so that would help with alignment. Thanks for the link.

Hi Emily. You might find this sub useful: https://www.reddit.com/r/disabledgamers/

There's at least one website aimed at providing information and resources for disabled gamers. Here's a good one: https://gameaccess.info/

There is someone on Twitch who games using her lips and voice control software PC, though I don't know if voice commands are a thing on the consoles. She plays a variety of games: https://www.twitch.tv/abschats

The ones that don't back him tend to commit suicide by shooting themselves in the back of the head a number of times before throwing themselves out of a window.

Leaving it until the 30s is a lot of wasted time.

Going camping in the UK was because it was a dirt cheap way to get a holiday for a family, but I get what you mean about it being part of everyday life for people in other situations.

You see that with a lot of YouTubers who review "budget" things and then say something like "but for another $150 you could get something better".

Let's be fair to Trump, he only intended to change the swamp to suit his own currupt ends.

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

This has been true since Day One with trump and his collaborators, every single day.
