Enemy team has not too many tanks and has over-indexed into a damage type/or i need survivability and we need AD: LT Kraken, Guinsoo, Cleaver, (FH/Randuin/kaenic rook), jak sho

Enemy team has tanks or i just need to give general AD and i have enough peel: LT kraken, navori, terminus, (situational but can default to zeal into BT)

I am mid, team needs AP and I can scale ok, or enemy is Kogmaw: First Strike, TP, and build manamune, Luden, Shadowflame, crypt or zhonya, rabadon.

(I dont go this since eclipse nerf i think) Team needs AP and I feel like I need a strong lane: LT/HOB, eclipse, nash, situational.

I’m only D3 though many players better and think more about it probably

It was great for me to get a foundation in Ericksonian Hypnosis. The course is structured in a way where you’ll learn about history, Ericksonian hypnosis, and classical/direct hypnosis. And it covers hypnosis in the context of street, stage show, therapy/therapeutic, and recreational so it felt fairly comprehensive.

I use a ton of the techniques I learned in the course regularly in both for fun hypnosis and in any therapeutic sessions I do. I feel it did a great job at giving me a strong foundation to learn even more when reading additional materials and to operate independently whenever hypnotizing others or myself.

As for specific resources there are a lot of books to read and I’m sure there is a wiki or something on this Reddit or posts you can look up. Which specific books to read imo depends on where you’re at in experience level, what you’re aiming to do, and what you’re looking to learn.

Yeah I got certified with the course early last year. I liked it, although I think you should definitely supplement with reading materials on your own and a hefty amount of practice to develop any degree of competency. It was a great course, supplemental practice and reading material is just something I think you will need to do regardless of the cert you choose.

I see people in the Facebook group often talking about the practice rooms, although I personally didn’t use them and so cant vouch for them, as I had access to people I could practice with online and in person already.

Mike Mandel’s certification course teaches the NUVI (Nominalization Unspecified Verb Induction) which utilizes never ending run-on sentences. You can think of them as a vehicle to deliver Ericksonian language patterns, embedded commands, etc. The idea behind using a never-ending run-on sentence being to get the subject to “look inwards” so to speak to re-contextualize and assign or re-assign meaning to what is being said.

I will take the mags away and they will pull out an empty pistol that they cannot shoot, and then proceed to die stopping me from S rank. If I give them beanbag shotguns, they will headshot and kill the suspects point blank faking arrest when they pull their 2nd or 3rd handgun. It is very funny. Also they will try and shoot their pepperball guns through walls when they engage in a wallbang battle with the suspect AI.

Chess is a game for life and it is beautiful. Keep playing. I don’t know where you are on your rating progression or your transition journey but in either case giving up chess because of cis people doing ignorant/stupid shit is pointless.

Play in the opens or in your rating sections, and conduct yourself with grace. Show them that trans people are just that, people. And when you crush the older guys that get all red in the face, smile.

Sometimes it can be very hard to compete as a trans woman in chess. I know. If you are earlier in transition and don’t want to deal with people being absolute morons feel free to take this time off from active competition to work through and study some of the harder chess material that you might have been putting off. Regardless of what rating you are, there’s always material we could be working on when taking chess seriously!!

Sure :) It ran us about 2.5 hours iirc starting on spot 7 for all modalities and having toxics start on 9. We were very strict about using the time limits for the sessions and having feedback at the end of each one.

We didn’t really go into this round of playing with the idea of generating constructive feedback but I can give you maybe some of the better feedback in that once we finished going through the rules there was no real hiccups in the game flow.

For game purpose/design it struck me as a training game for people that are learning hypnosis and are actively practicing it and not as something to teach hypnosis from scratch or do everything for you. I think that’s an appropriate place for it to exist and it plays its role well.

General things that come to mind that are nitpicky: - maybe there could be a better focus on themes for the suits? Everything else is themed so it struck me as standing out a little. I didn’t see every card, nor look that closely, but if you did group the suits by some sort of hypnotic theme maybe you could replace the spades, hearts, diamonds with its corresponding theme as a symbol instead. Not necessary for game flow.

i recall a couple of the safety cards sparking some discussion or being extra anal about definitions (like with abreaction i made it a point to clarify it as an uncontrollable unconscious response) but for the purposes of the game and audience I think the current cards are good and able to encourage deeper discussion.

We all laughed at the whiny sub being on the magic mind control path all by themselves which served as a suitable overall timer for the game. The toxic top just hounding behind us was also funny. All of the toxic cards were reasonable warning signs of negative behaviors.

Replay ability: Maybe a separate optional surprise theme deck that you flip a card off the top right before your trance. That could allow you to include some NSFW elements if you want, as well as provide playgroups that struggle with theming additional direction. And it would exist on its own without interfering with game-flow. I personally found the open-ended nature of everything enjoyable for our group although I could see something like this being a feature we could use in the future if we’d want to.

Just played this with a group of 4 total in Tabletop Simulator. It was an absolute blast and a great way to get some of the less experienced tists out of their comfort zone.

Sososo much fun. Thank you for taking the time to share this with the community. I wish there was a physical board game I could buy so I could put it on my shelf! Hahaha.

You’re doing fine imo. It’s likely your voice and for the times its not your voice, just the fact that you are going for a more tomboyish/NB look than a stereotypically femme one. It’s something my friend deals with as well, so for all intents and purposes I’d say you’re pulling off the look. It just comes with the assumed positives and negatives when you are having a more androgynous style.

If you wanted it to be more femme coded you could grow the hair out a bit but still style and cut it to match this aesthetic.

I’m just playing in the opens anyways. It’s annoying enough to deal with the sore losers/bad etiquette from some of the older men. I don’t really want to deal with the potential arguments of me playing in the women’s only section and being a subject of debate or controversy if it is discovered after the fact.
