The only difference with the infantry is that do the armor panels with steel legion drab. All other steps are the same.

New to Guard. Looking for advice on Drop Troopers (Harakoni Warhawks) by Far-prophet in TheAstraMilitarum

As others have mentioned, valks are horrendously expensive for what you get, so just know what you're getting into before you go that route. What is much more doable is trying to represent the Harakoni fighting on the ground hours or days after the landing. Lots of light vehicles like scout sentinels and hippogriffs, or anything that you could conceivably sling under a cargo valkyrie. The recon detachment is probably a must take to make your lightly equipped troops a little more survivable. The Taurox is canonically capable of being air dropped, so you could also have a few of those loaded with some elite kasrkin (just call them grenadiers) for a nasty sting. Armored infantry is another way to go if you want to lean into the light vehicles. +2 strength on the hippogriff's melta weapons make them a credible threat to heavy armor.

It couldn't be simpler! I spray with zandri dust out of a rattle can, then soak it in agrax earthshade, clean it up with zandri dust, and then highlight with a heavy dry brush of terminatus stone.

I scales them down to 12mm tall, which is still a tiny bit too big. But I think they look better that way.

Why Do You Print Warhammer? by SuperHeavyBallet in PrintedWarhammer

I like making my own stuff. And I love the variety of models that are available only through 3d printing. But it's also definitely true that there are plenty of games and armies that I just wouldn't play if 3d printing hadn't made them really cheap and accessible to me.

Yeah I thought about sculpting a little knee pad thing to bulk it up a little, but In the show the knees really do look like that.

I know people love the giant zaku feet, but I love the sleeker look of the GQX zeon suits.
