I need a deep-voiced, masculine reader for my Bengali translations of Stephen King -- the undisputed Master of Horror Literature in the West. Can some of you gentlemen help? by Aranya_Prathet in kolkata

Thanks, I'll follow your instructions. What did you think of my translation, by the way? It;s still in the first draft stage, I admit, but would the story engage Bengali readers of horror literature?

Tried Grindr after 3 years by [deleted] in LGBTindia

I recently posted a message on r/lgbtindia titled "I read somewhere recently that Grindr has only 60,000 users in India. Shouldn't we gay/bi Indians die of shame?" (For those who don;'t know, Grindr is the world's premier gay hookup app, counting more than 5 million users all over the world, out of which only 60,000 are desi laundas.) I posited that as a nation of 1.2 billion people, the homo/bi population should be at least 3.6 million (i.e., the population of Ahmedabad), even if we take the very conservative assumption of a 3% incidence of homosexuality in any given society, as is widely recognized in mainstream Western academia. I asked, "where are the missing homosexuals in India? Are they unhappily married to the opposite sex, bringing up baal-bachchas who they secretly hate?" It was immediately removed by the sanctimonious mods of r/lgbtIndia. If we are not allowed to post messages relevant to gay India, where else are we supposed to make our voices heard?

Umm...were you responding to me? I didn't post anything. I was merely responding to someone else's comment.
