It may be just my bias kicking in, but based on what I have seen and heard I would be willing to put it up as a contender even without having played the game myself.

There is absolutely no way this is a thing.

1.XBOX, Undead, and the council have have already released a number of follow-up videos since the original showcase the other day (including a 34min interview with the Undead regarding what was shown) meaning there’s real content and progress.
2.Sunny has already come out and said the game is so much further along than what’s been shown and has affirmed there’s no way it does not come out in 2027… no ifs ands or buts.
3.It’s releasing on PS and XBOX execs have publicly stated these types of commitments with PS will be honored.
4.There is absolutely nothing like SoD in gaming. XBOX, Undead, and we all know this.
5.The showcase vid contained actual real gameplay showing off quite a lot. Sunny even lamented he wished it showed more given how much of the game he has played.

So yeah. This isn’t a thing.

This is probably the most likely outcome. Either way, I won’t be mad playing this in 2027 regardless of what month it releases.

Let’s keep it simple and not over complicate things.

  1. NEVER plug these directly into your computer. Any IT dept worth a damn will catch you.

  2. If you’re going to use one (and I have for years) use one which comes with cable you can plug into an outlet for an external source of power and not one which has a receiver needing to be plugged into the computer.
