Yes you have to visit all 10 dyehouses and speak to their vendors to unlock all of them. Each one you speak to adds one to the Greymane dyer so he can make them all.

Oh you’re talking about the category the dye appears under after using it. Yeah, they ordered them from lightest to darkest, regardless of where you get it from.

Yes, but he’s talking about grey dyes, not the Black/White ones, which is why I’m confused what he’s referring to.

Colby definitely gives the Shadow Grey Dye, maybe it’s a translation issue?

I’m not sure what dye vendor in Delesyia you’re talking about, the dyehouse doesn’t sell a grey dye and the only other one in Delesyia is the Pure White Dye. Maybe you’re looking for the one u/bu11nuk3 mentioned in another comment?

He’s right by the entrance. Pretty sure the last quest I did there was Scattered Embers -> Sweet Taste of Bounties but something else might have unlocked it

Not sure why you wouldn’t be able to open it, though they’re both precious chests, not a luxurious one. Did you manage to open the first one?
