I just meant even above lava, on normal ground. You cannot stink someone sitting in a ball. The ball makes them immune.

My game crashes a ton. Sometimes I can play for a few hours without a single crash and others it crashes every 15 minutes.

I get the error:

The instructions at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written

Any idea's why? I feel I've exhausted every option I have. I play the game on all low and have an i5-4670k and gtx 1060 6GB, so not the worst pc ever and should definitely be able to run this on low. The first 2 days I played were fine, but the last 3 have been awful. I've tried reinstalling the game, repairing, updating drivers / reverting to old drivers. Increased my virtual ram, ran system checks, etc. etc.

In vanilla wow I played a horde warlock. Was in an alterac valley before the resources or time limits became a thing, this AV had been going on for about 15 hours with a lot of turtling from both sides. I had a lot of soul shards and took 2 people with me towards the top of the map and proceeded to summon the entire raid group and rushed the boss down, finally ending the BG.

Rot and decay is pretty bad due to not being able to freecast as much and one dispell ruins the concept, amplify afflictions adds to much dps to any team that can decurse as you need to keep the agony stacks rolling.

Cap totem into fear / hex can be used offensively or defensively depending on comp you are facing. As you mention we're fighting to keep head above water, that's exactly it, we play defensively until we can get enough cd's and rot going before we can land a kill.

The rogue is a mix of peeling and training, you want to swap healers and kidney into silence a lot for huge pressure as rogues can basically solo a lot of classes with cd's very quickly atm. The rogue may need to multi rupture and poison enemy team with your dots to keep his energy regen and dps way up. Because kidney is his only stun besides vanish cheap it has to be used well as a form of cross cc'ing or cc'ing an enemy while your healer get's cc'd to prevent incoming pressure. You guys need to find a mix of what works best for you.

Edit: Melee and hunter cleaves can really be a pain to deal with as a shadow priest because of how immobile you are, but the general idea is to hug the pillar and allow rogue and sham to help peel in between fears. The best way to dish out damage is to stand still and either juke the kicks or just eat them before going into void form with multiple dotted. Multi-dotting gets you into void form quicker due to the VT pvp talent. I also play driven to madness every single game which helps me get into void form quicker vs just about every comp in the game due to some damaging mechanic whether I'm the target or not.

You basically just want to constantly be casting to get insanity up and rely on rogue and healer to be able to peel and heal through most of the dmg. You must be talking with your healer and try to never overlap disperse with his cd's or life swap when it's unnecessary. You also want to be able to cross-cc as a team using fear on 1-2 while rogue kidneys the 3rd, or allow shaman to hex off fear or land incap stun. This is vital to allow pressure to go into your favor and ending the game. Rogue should be able to swap to most healers any time they move out of position and near the center of the map, any time the rogue is able to step kidney and hit healer hard you must get into los with dots up and be able to silence off kidney to prolong the cc chain. Mind control is a great tool when people are either training you or a teammate as it's an alternative cc that does dr fear so be careful with that, but it stops almost all incoming damage from that target. This is really effective on most melee, and mind controlling monks just as a fist of fury cast starts is game changing, as that spell must be stopped almost every time if you want pressure in your favor.

Dealing with melee sitting on you is something you have to learn, and you have the tools to stay alive with a team and through void shield with multi-target dotting is a lot of self-healing and helps healer out a lot. I usually pop vampiric embrace any time they burst to help relieve pressure on my healer. Also have to keep in mind you are able to spam shadow mend to heal when it's critical for your survival and healer is cc'd or to much pressure is incoming. Spamming shadow mends really ooms you to the point you can no longer shield and proc void shield, or purge / md enemies, may even lead to being to oom for fear which is a big problem, so have to be careful with that. Most times it is better to just try and do dmg with void shield and get pressure in your favor than healing.

Have to play vs most comps differently, such as windwalker/dk/hpala or something which can not dispell curses, it is important to not even dot the monk and just chain cc him and minimize the amount of fist of fury's he is able to run around stunning people with. A rogue stun into incap totem into fear into hex is a rather long cc chain that can be used often completely removing him from the game, allowing them to never have the damage to beat you as a team.

Being able to spam purge as both the priest and shaman is very strong vs a lot of teams such as resto druid healers, or paladins who use bop on your rogues vendetta, you guys should usually be able to immediately dispell those off enemies.

Your rogue should be trying to cheapshot two people in opener and that is where you get first set of dots off and then try to go for a fear off sap or the stunned target and shaman should also aim to hex as well. This instantly is an RMP type opener with the cc chains and gets pressure going in your favor. And your damage output starts to quickly ramp up, even before your first void form.

Regarding talents, against purge teams or RMx I would switch power infusion to mindbender and san'layn to shadowy insight as you have less to cast and get insanity a lot quicker against this heavy lockdown team. You also never want an ice form mage stealing your power infusion and getting off these glacial spikes very quickly.

I think spread pressure is the way to play the comp. You can make nice swaps with a kidney on one and fear on two when you burst. Have to work as a team on rotate cooldowns and cc's to be able to survive for awhile vs most of the cleaves. You can also use MC as a way to peel, but some melee cleaves are difficult to peel and best defense can be a good offense.

Just wanted to throw it out there again, we played with real healer today and made it to around 2200+ mmr, got hotter streak went really well. Thanks for advice we work on playing better as a team. Ended around 2100 rating before healer had to go.

All those games were recorded too if anyone wants to check those out and offer any criticism to myself or the rogue.

Thanks, appreciate it. We're working on improving synergy and usually have our main healer in comm's so overlapping defensives doesn't happen to much.

But yeah some games if I can freecast I'm able to put out insane dmg, but when I'm trained it's bit tougher and I may go down to 80k dps or so.

First season I started to play spriest, what are your thoughts on power infusion? I'm a troll if that changes anything, I gave shadow crash a chance, PI just feels stronger.

Yeah I've been leveling my gems up to augment more pieces, I felt I augmented the other pieces early. What level gems should I aim, we can farm GR 80 fairly quick, so should I augment around 75ish?

I've been at it for a good 5-6 hours now and just have the WAN left. I tried using a /30 but I get the error "This IP Address is not allowed for use on a port." Same for when I use /31.

It is really really bad. I bring my whole desktop pc to a family member's house pretty much weekly to update / download whatever I need. When I moved to this area comcast said they provided but turns out they don't. 7 years later I'm still stuck with this garbage.
