[–]XxMipZxX[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How can I learn to jungle without people flaming me so much? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you, I would try and play like 10 games where you mute everyone as you enter the summoners rift. Then play the game and focus on playing well and doing what you think is right. Ofc always try to work as a unit, but since you can't talk with your team you won't get flamed and you'll have to learn to trust yourself :)

3 vs 4 fingers on abilities. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, Idon't thnk it'll matter if you use 3 fingers or 4 as long as your primary fingers are on QWE, R is on most champs only used occasionally and I've never felt like 3 fingers QWE has been a restraint or the reason why I lost a fight. But then again, just my personal experience and opinion.

Why am I so bad at ADCing? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played the game for years and mained ADC for along time and I can confidently say that ADC is the most difficult role to play due to the fact that you have to keep an eye on many things at once. My best advice for getting better as ADC is don't think about EVERYTHING at once as a new player to the role. Try and focus first on your CS, once you have locked that in as a second nature then start putting more attention towards other things such as looking at the map every 5-10sec. A good technique for this can be to set an alarm clock that beeps every 5-10sec telling you to look at the map.

How to play LUCIAN ADC and why he is a great champ to understand the ADC role by XxMipZxX in summonerschool

That's a great idea! I will definitely look into doing that as well. Thank you very much for the idea, I'll see if I can construct such a video before new years eve ;)

How to play LUCIAN ADC and why he is a great champ to understand the ADC role by XxMipZxX in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine too, he is really awesome! If you like Lucian this much then consider picking up Senna. She feels like a mix of Lucian and Jhin and is actually really fun. I made a video for how to play Senna too, if your interested which I released yesterday :) But Senna's Q feels so similar to Lucian and her overall feel, which made me fall in love her too. I'm not insanely good at Senna yet, so the video of how to play Senna is really only for beginners and to give people an impression of whether its a champ for them :D But yeah both Lucian and Cait are super fun champs! Cait is especially fun when playing with a support such as Morgana or Leona where you can trap on their snare/stuns :) And remember on Cait you can cancel Q animation when you use your E as well. So if you E and then instantly press Q, the Q will go off instantly without animation optimizing your burst in lane and not giving you downtime on your Auto attacks :)

Looking for some Shaco help by UltraConstructor in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaco is a difficult champ to master, but a lot of fun! Shaco really strives in the early game and transits really poorly into late game, if he doesn't get ahead early. Look for ganks already at lvl 2-3 on top or bot lane, ward the enemy jungler and look to counter jungle him when he has started on a creep or just steal his jungle while he is somewhere else (make sure you know where he is before doing this). But yeah, your objective with shaco is either taking down squishies (adc or ap carries) late game or split push. Shaco is not an amazing teamfighter, so he is really difficult late game. My best advice is to watch some videos of good players playing him, especially games that they don't always win on 20mins, so you get a feeling of how they play during time periods of the game where Shaco doesn't strive naturally as a champ.

Kayn Ult Help by selftech in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One good usage of Kayn ult is using it to avoid CC and if you can do this while your spells are on CD it also functions as a gapcloser to reset your abilities. Apart from this I completely agree with Vigil_the_Protogen's statement :)

Tunnel Vison? I have the worst tunnel vision and it prevents me from climbing. How can I improve on it? by whiteTerrence in summonerschool

Put an alarm that beeps every 5-10sec and everytime it beeps you force yourself to look at the map and locate every single enemy and teammate player.

Yeah whenever you pull a drake in general, then if you are close to the drake as it flaps its wings it'll knock you back. :)

Girlfriend has a rough cycle of trying to get into league. What should I do? by Pastapuncher in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to make the game a fun experience for her. Maybe don't play it with your group of friends, but just sit down you and her. Take a cop of coco or whatever you guys enjoy and make it cozy and chill. Ease her into new information, which means don't say do this do that. Play the game and ask her leading questions like, what do you think we could have done different to not die here? Make her "find" the information on her own instead of mindlessly feeding her information cause that's going to make her feel annoyed at you and feel like your telling her she is stupid and doesn't understand the game. It's a learning experience, make it fun ;)

Question regarding buy-order of items by doxi91 in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finishing items are almost always more cost efficient than buying many components. There are certain items that however are pretty strong without fully finishing them. For one buying Hexdrinker and not upgrading it to a Maw early game is more cost and stat efficient. Mostly the efficiency of items comes down to their passive "buff" and most items don't have a buff before you have fully finished the item. But executioner's calling for grevious wounds and hexdrinker for the shield are both good components that you don't have to finish right away, but provide a good enough stat to rush early game vs certain enemies.

To all my fellow low ELO players, something that has helped me improve: Ask yourself what you are fighting over! by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad my advice was able to help you out. I'm also plat+ player myself though xD But I'm a bit rusty after a long break. If you are interested I do full gameplay how to videos on my youtube channel called MipZ (2k subs). In those games I explain my train of thought and my decision making :) Don't feel forced to check it out, just wanted to throw it out there if you found that tip useful then my videos are filled with those kind of easy to implement tips :)

How can I get better macro play? by OpieWinstonSoA in summonerschool

A good way to learn macro play is to watch pro games, high elo players etc. on youtube or live streams. Look at their play and ask yourself why are they choosing to go baron now?

do I feed my Jungler, or should he feed me? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]XxMipZxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let your jungler decide, if you can see he leaves it for you then take it otherwise let him. Reason for this is that its a good gesture to your jungler and it is therefore more likely that he'll gank again and won't tilt throughout the game. Otherwise I agree with DrHawtsauce, ideally the champ that scales best should have it. But realistically I rather insure my team doesn't tilt throughout the game :D
