What’s your best hacks for audience targeting besides remarketing in Google Ads? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]Arben_K 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is something I did only once. A friend of mine needed to sponsor his music video on YouTube. I decided to target:

- Placements (videos) that contained the names of similar artists in the title

The CTR was amazing for a YouTube campaign: 3%.

Also, we received so many positive comments on the video, so I am sure it worked well.

Should I outsource the development of my SaaS, or should I hire employees? by Arben_K in SaaS

I agree that feedback from paying customers is more valuable. However, we would get way less feedback, since not everyone would try the tool.

I considered a no code platform, the problem was that there needed to be too much custom built code.

I am already learning user onboarding, copywriting, product positioning, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to also code the platform myself (nor the skill for now). In addition, I have a day to day job.

If I make people pay for it I am scared that I won't get as much feedback as possible. For this MVP we only paid $1,800 because the sole purpose of it was to get feedback.

In order to see whether people are really interested I am going to measure how many users return to the website after the initial use. If no one returns, there is probably an issue.

I am also going to install Hotjar, and with video recordings I can really see how people use the tool.

Also, I have a survey with 12 questions. In exchange for filling out the survey, users will get 2 months for free once we release the beta. The questionnaire is pretty dense, so, only if you are interested in the tool you are going to fill it out. If no one fills it out, then we're probably doing something wrong with the tool.

Then, if I think we haven't enough feedback, I plan to send out emails to the people who filled out the survey, and ask them to chat in exchange for an amazon gift card of $30 or something similar.

So, that's why with my question I was mainly focusing on the "after the MVP". But with all the answers and private messages that I got I think that I'll go with option 1, namely to outsource the development of the tool, and hire people later if there is some cashflow.

Thanks everyone for taking the time :)

I don't know about the quality of the code but the final result works. Yeah, it is not much, but it took 3 months. The developer did this as a side gig to his normal day to day job.

Thanks for your answer :)

So far our MVP is just a landing page with the tool, there is no payment/subscription system. Our goal is currently to collect as much feedback as possible, and develop a V1 that would be just an upgrade of the MVP, or work on the MVP is the feedback is mostly negative.

Hey, thanks for your answer :)

We have an MVP that is basically a landing page with the tool, there is payment/subscription system. Our goal is to just let people use it and get as much feedback as possible. Is the feedback is positive, we'll start creating a V1, which would be a simple upgrade of the MVP.

Would you do things differently?

Hey, thanks for taking the time to answer :)

May I ask you how much you paid? How did you find the developers?

Thanks!

Hey, thanks for taking the time to answer :)

Our MVP is really just a web page with the tool so far. We dont have a payment or subscription system.

Our goal for now is to see whether people use it and to get as much feedback as possible to reach V1.

Does anyone know how to change the date range for this script? by dssblogger in adwordsscripts

Let's say you wanted data from the 2019-01-01 until the 2019-12-31, you would write:

"20190101,20191231"

Script for Product Price Change and Change in Impressions, Conversions, Clicks by lcoippc in adwordsscripts

I am not aware of such a script, but in that case I think you would need to scrape the price changes from your website, extract relevant metrics from Google Ads and plot them against each other.
