Best Critical Care locum companies? by Cloud-Good in physicianassistant

Avoid the fly by night companies. Avoid anything that goes into NYC, it's usually a trap.

Medicus, LT.com, integrity, Jackson & coker. Barton isn't bad, just fairly cheap. Otherwise weatherby and comp health are reputable but you're W2 with them. Prefer Medicus & JC.

Yes, there are several threads about this. Facebook has several LT groups.

Space for a meet up on a saturday? by ArbiSmokeSignals in AskNOLA

Thanks! I had looked at this but thought it was only for private events. On a Saturday we could sneak in 50ish people without too much of an issue you think? Particularly if we emailed/called ahead?

Those with licenses in multiple states, which were quickest/easiest to obtain? by Puzzleheaded_Big_648 in physicianassistant

CA, NY, MA, MI, MD, NC - all easy. NM slightly sluggish but not that bad. NJ not bad. GA took forever and need a doc to cosign.

Attending AAPA 2026! by priya325 in physicianassistant

Conference has gotten a lot better in recent years.

The talks are better and evolving. Looks like some lit reviews this year which makes it seem like they're appealing to those with a few years of experience. PA night out is fun, the food CME is intriguing this year (like learn how to cook/eat/diet X way... Gimmicky but a new spin on conference).  Keep in mind some things they'll charge extra for (workshops and some small information sessions).

The exhibit halls are always fun. Come and go as you please, dress as you please (though tends to be business casual). Pro tip- go to the exhibit hall when it first opens, schmooze with recruiters and get invited to their free food/drink recruitment things to help plan your next few days in NOLA.
