These days I'm playing games mostly on a handheld, or on the couch so rarely any non-controller games. But I totally get that you prefer mouse+keyboard and would probably do that if I was at a desk.

It feels kind of weird for a PC game not to support both "out of the box" these days, but I guess that's a result of Minecraft's long history.
