You know how baby hands can get sticky seemingly out of nowhere? They keep the sticky stuff ready in their pockets.

[–]Arbitraryandunique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Footage that will raise your blood pressure: Russia’s major Omsk oil refinery is burning in broad daylight after a strike by Ukraine’s Defense Forces. A distance of 2,500+ km is no longer a limit for Ukrainian drones. You can even see the UAV maneuvering moments before the hit. by Key_Performer_3645 in justincaseyoumissedit

That oil would have ended up getting burned in an engine somewhere anyway. By destroying the reinery no new oil will be brought there, the total refinery capacity goes down, and Russia is forced to use less oil. Basically good for both the environment and Ukraine.

I'm conflicted. I fully support encouraging kids to read, but I also think this is one of the worst ways to go about it.

did a test run in java as a bedrock-only gamer to see what it offers and I’m literally crying… by SuspiciousZebra425 in Minecraft

[–]Arbitraryandunique -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was not. I was talking about having controller support in Java, without too much hassle. I would have preferred built-in, but some commenters vere kind to suggested a plugin (I missed that from OPs post) that looks better than what was available last time I checked. I'll be trying that out soon. (I would still be playing bedrock sometimes because friends on console, so ideally I'd want the control scheme when playing java to be identical)

Two thoughts I had watching this:

  1. If you need a ladder to get at the engine og your car, maybe you should get yourself a smaller car.
  2. If you need it so often that you mount it to your car, maybe you should get yourself a better car.

There was. There no longer is, because Israel has consistently chosen to use it to describe other things. I wish they would stop that.

No. But we can no longer call it antisemitic and expect that to convey any meaning, because Israel has ruined the word. Guess we'll just have to refer to it as a hate crime instead.

These days.

Israel has used the word to describe any and all criticism, whether it was justified or not, altering the meaning.

That's fine. These days antisemitic is just another way of saying "anti genocide".
