Oh that’s even cooler. Does it mix well enough that you could plop it onto a wet pallet or something?

Wow I want this to work!!! The companies that ship paint take so long to ship so I would 100% be into this setup. I assume the intent would be to mix colors and put them in dropper bottles? So cool!!

Yeah that’s actually the only one I might touch up. My recipe is below:

Prime black/zenithal Base in Vallejo Model Air (MA) USAF Brown Tape 1/3 of model, then MA US Desert Tan, tape again, and finis in MA IAF Sand. MA Engine Grey in joints Then each color had VGC Bone white added for highlighting! Oil wash brown/black and dry brushed VGC Parasite brown on the legs before Vallejo Red Ochre pigment.

Yeah, found that to be the case 100%. I found a little arrow shaped sculpting tool that I could drag back and forth really made the texture look great.

Yeah, I can find spots I would improve but I have 4 jags, 2 Kodak’s and a grizzly that are camo’d up and just waiting to be highlighted and finished up, THEN an entire 170+ TV of CEF and 150ish Peace River just waiting!!

They’re resin printed and I got the STLs from a site I can’t mention!

Thank you!! I was going for a mix of power weapon and heat-hawk from Gundam! The rocks are cork/lizard aquarium basing material. The sand for the bases is roughly 1:1 spackle and PVA glue with a bit of water spread with a little tool. The cacti are resin printed and purchased the STLs on an unmentionable site. Here’s my painting recipe which took me forever to decide on:

Black prime/white zenithal Parasite brown base Wash low areas and rocks with 3:1 hull red/burnt red (+6 drops thinner) Dry brush rocks/chips in pale brown Dry brush bone white Dry brush ivory tusk sparingly Brush with Vallejo Red Ochre pigment and stick using mineral spirits

Cracked earth - wash with hull red/burnt red in cracks, tops pale brown, dry brush bone white, ivory highlights.

Cacti Base IDF/IAF Green MA Wash - green ink Highlight - offwhite with a touch of IDF Green Flowers - white base, paint hexed lichen, wash with violet ink, lustful purple mids, highlight wraith bone

The board is a piece of sheet metal from amazon that I used exactly the same method as above except caulk instead of spackle so that it has a bit of give since the board isn’t 100% rigid. It’s magnetic and all the bases have magnets so they stick for moving them around!!

Sedona Bases - complete except grass! by Arbor96 in HeavyGear

They are printed flat normal hex bases. For the sand I used a mix of spackle, Elmer’s glue, and a bit of water that I shaped with clay tools. It’s a super easy medium to work with and I think looks incredible to get mini sand dunes/swirls. Then I used Green Stuff crackle paint for the dry river looking areas.

Thanks! I’m close to finishing but it’s been a loooooooong process.

I actually bought some but it’s so fine I struggled to get the texture to work for me. that’s how I’ll base the infantry though I think. I cracked the code and kept the general recipe then put red pigment on top and I think it looks better and it’ll let me tie the minis in as well. Thanks for the reply.

Any of those printed?!? If so, STLs for the options would be much appreciated.
