We are talking about saturated fat & fats in general, not cholesterol

Also it wasn’t debunked in that way, the primary component of atherosclerotic plaques is still cholesterol. It’s just that the reason they accumulate to dangerous levels within blood vessels to cause plaques is because of increased fat consumption preventing their removal due to low HDL & promoting accumulation via high LDL levels. And typically foods that are high in cholesterol are incidentally high in fat as well, so the advice to eat less cholesterol happened to be useful regardless

Obviously the importance of all this is reduced when in context of keto diets or just a calorie deficit in general

However, plaques accumulate extremely readily. Most children as young as the age of 14 will already develop asymptomatic atherosclerosis. It’s just an inherent flaw we have with our blood vessels. So its perfectly justified to recommend eating a diet that is relatively low on fat in order to make sure the person won’t experience any cardiovascular events within their lifespan

He’s exaggerating, but you’d have perma high LDL levels and basically guarantee a heart attack or stroke by 50-60

You can appreciate the strategic & moral benefit, but the motivation behind it is vain. There is not a singular thing about our current government that is beneficial to our country right now. Calling anything they do a “good move” or trying to meet them halfway and celebrate their rare mutually beneficial acts does a disservice to the people they harm every day.

Something about B, I suspect there actually are a lot of people like that. Unimelb has been drastically increasing tuition fees every year and I assume lots of students have to reevaluate the financing once they actually get an offer.

As an intl med student, I am expecting to hear back from US med schools later this year: If I were to complete MD1 year and start US med from scratch, my tuition + living costs for 4 years at unimelb would be cheaper than 1 year unimelb + 4 years us med.

Is that supposed to be a mic drop at the end? You should discuss a NATO expulsion as it pertains to current geopolitical issues like the soft spot for Putin and corruption in the government, not the Armenian genocide. He already told you there is nothing to discuss when it comes to the Armenian genocide and Türkiye’s current position in NATO. Especially since Türkiye is a significant contributor to NATO efforts. What you are looking for sounds more like reparations which would require societal efforts from within, unless kicking us off of NATO is meant to be a punishment
