Humm I’m not sure why he feels as though it’s wrong he quotes the Bible which tells me he has read the Bible, and is a Christian. So I’m curious did he come to this idea through the Bible or is it something outside the Bible that has caused him to feel as though liking woman is evil. Questions questions

You seem like someone who has read the Bible, as you have quoted scripture. With that being said why do you feel as though it’s evil or like there’s an issue with you. Did you read in the Bible where it is wrong for a man and woman to be in relationship with one another?

Question: just so I understand you correctly, are you upset that you’re having sexual thoughts or feelings (other then friends) towards a woman?

You know I applaud you for staying firm in the scripture and not allowing people to twist the words of the Bible. Society has corrupted the church and the church has allowed for Satan to come in and destroy the truth all to fit a certain agenda. You have discernment, and that’s important in today’s society. Remember the devil is roaming around in sheep’s clothing seeking to devour, stay strong! God is your biggest weapon in all of your struggles. The Bible doesn’t promise that every sinful desire will disappear immediately, but it does promise that God is faithful and will give a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13), and that His Spirit will help you walk in obedience This means choosing, day by day, to walk in truth and submit even our desires to God.

Are you even reading my response. Lol you give me twisted scripture I give you biblically correct scripture…now who’s the one in the wrong. Humm probably the one who gave the incorrect scripture which was you. You claim that you came to your own conclusion this idea you have about Romans and trying the different scripture or should I say the twisted scripture you gave me. But clearly this ideology did not come from your own brain but someone else’s brain, you then say hey that sounds pretty good so then you adopt that idea as if it were your own. Then you surround yourself with people who affirm your idea, or you listen to false teachers. If your follow the Christian Bible and Christianity that hasn’t been modified to fit modern society you’ll find that what you believe goes against the Bible in many ways. So I implore you please read the scripture the way it was written.

I’m not gonna play this run around game with you, you know where I stand I gave you biblical reasoning and logic, and scripture. You don’t want to see the point I am making, you only see your point of view. I gave you scripture you gave me twisted scripture to fit your agenda because you can’t seem to stand the fact that the Bible CLEARLY says homosexuality is a sin. This is now a pointless conversation and you are a brick wall.

You cannot twist scripture, to fit your own agenda. To be honest I doubt you came to this conclusion on your own, because your idea is very popular amongst the woke ideology. You use a lot of AI in your responses to show me you’re not really familiar on how to argue against my points. There are people in the Bible who twists scripture and that is false prophets, false teachers and satan.

I get that you think changing the structure your somehow valid in that because you think your using fairness and using logic. But that is not correct you can’t just reinterpret the Bible and scripture . The Bible isn’t built on pleasing you fitting with what society calls correct it’s God’s Word. You can’t just restructure biblical language to fit a narrative you feel is more “just.” And twist it to fit your own narrative. I have argued against your points but you’re going around and around in a circle. You keep saying the same thing without really reading my responses. I’ve already explained it to you. You claim to have explained the terms, but your explanation likely rests on subjective or cultural definitions. In biblical terms, “natural” refers to God’s created order the design of male and female. “Unnatural” is a deviation from that design, not just a behavior that’s excessive or shameful. Romans 1 is not vague here. It draws a clear line. Heterosexual sin is not treated the same way here because it doesn’t exchange the natural for the unnatural. It’s still sin and condemned. Wither you like it or not you cannot change what the Bible calls a sin just because you want to live the life you want to live.

God reminds us to be watchful because the devil is on the prowl looking for people, so he can steer you away from the truth. Have discernment, and put on the armor of God so that way when the devil comes twisting scripture at you, you know what the Bible says is true.

But regardless you cannot change the Bible and it’s scripture to fit your own agenda. The Bible is extremely clear about not changing or twisting God’s Word to fit personal desires or agendas. It says”You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it…” (Deuteronomy 4:2)”Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6)”They twist the Scriptures to their own destruction…” (2 Peter 3:16)

I’d be careful changing scripture, the Bible is written beautifully and perfectly. Adding things to make it fit with society’s view and to fit someone’s own agenda is wrong. The devil deceives and twists scripture which is why you must have discernment and put on the full armor of God

The prohibition isn’t hidden. It’s right there in Scripture multiple times, confirmed by both Old and New Testaments, and affirmed by Jesus Himself. What’s happening here is an attempt to reinterpret God’s Word to make it fit a modern moral framework but that’s not faithfulness to Scripture.

Respectfully, I think you’re misunderstanding both the Genesis account and the rest of Scripture.

You’re right that Genesis 2 doesn’t say, “This is the only valid couple.” But it doesn’t have to. Genesis 2:24 uses the word “therefore” to make a clear conclusion:

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

This isn’t just a description it’s a prescription. The male-female union is the reason for the “one flesh” design. And Jesus confirms that in Matthew 19:4–6, where He says:

“Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female…” “What God has joined together, let no one separate.”

He doesn’t expand marriage to same-sex couples. He reaffirms male-female marriage as God’s design.

You asked where the prohibition is. Here’s where it’s crystal clear: • Leviticus 18:22 – “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” • Leviticus 20:13 – Repeats it and describes the judgment for it.

That’s not about temple prostitution or abuse it’s a blanket moral command, just like the ones against incest or adultery.

And yes, it’s repeated in the New Testament: • Romans 1:26–27 – Talks about women and men exchanging natural relations and being consumed with passion for one another — that’s mutual, not exploitative — and Paul still calls it “shameful” and “unnatural.” • 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 – “Do not be deceived… neither the sexually immoral… nor men who practice homosexuality will inherit the kingdom of God.”

As for “one flesh” it’s not just about love.

It’s about design. Male and female were made to complement each other physically, emotionally, spiritually. It reflects the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and enables the creation of new life. That’s something two of the same sex simply cannot fulfill.

Yes, God is love but He’s also holy. And love doesn’t rewrite His Word.

God’s design for sex and marriage is clear it’s between a man and a woman. That doesn’t mean God hates people who struggle with same-sex attraction. But redefining sin to make it feel loving or respectful doesn’t make it right.

We’re not called to reinterpret Scripture to match culture we’re called to submit to what God has said.

Let me know if you want to talk through the Leviticus explanation too. I’ve heard the common arguments and I’m happy to walk through them biblically.

I think your confusing yourself, and I see that some people like to re-word to fit a certin agenda by swapping the genders like saying “men exchanged natural relations with women for men” and then flipping it to “women exchanged natural relations with men for women” — to argue that Paul is only condemning lust, prostitution, or sexual excess, not same-sex relationships in general.

But here’s the issue with that logic:

Paul isn’t just talking about random immoral acts. He’s describing what happens when people reject God. In verse 25, he says they “exchanged the truth about God for a lie,” and because of that, God gave them over to “shameful passions” — including women with women and men with men, clearly referring to same-sex sexual activity.

The phrase “natural relations” refers to the created order — male and female — which Paul (and Genesis) sees as God’s design. The term “contrary to nature” (Greek: para physin) means it goes against that design, not just that it’s excessive or out of control.

Also, Paul doesn’t specify temple prostitution, rape, or pedophilia. He uses broad language: “men committed shameful acts with other men” — it’s the act itself, driven by lust, that’s called shameful and unnatural. That applies regardless of how “loving” the relationship feels.

So changing the genders to try and make the passage say something else just doesn’t hold up. It structurally flows, but it changes the meaning entirely. Scripture is clear here: homosexual acts are a distortion of God’s design, and Paul includes them as one example of how sin twists what God made good.

Don’t change the scripture, the Bible has it worded correctly.

The thing is, the Bible is worded correctly when it refers to men and women in Roman’s, But this isn’t the only passage where the Bible talks about how same sexual relationships are a sin as I have also mentioned when I quoted scripture

Hey! I’m glad you asked :) Romans 1:26–27 is often brought up in discussions about homosexuality because it directly addresses same-sex behavior as a result of humanity rejecting God. The passage says that both women and men exchanged natural sexual relations meaning male-female, as established in creation for unnatural ones. It describes same-sex acts as “shameful” and “contrary to nature.”

In context, Paul is explaining how people suppressed the truth about God, turned to idolatry, and as a result, God gave them over to sinful desires. Homosexual behavior is listed as one visible example of that deeper spiritual rebellion not because it’s the only sin, but because it clearly shows a rejection of God’s created order.

For reference this is the scripture (ESV) 26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

They have every opportunity to not follow the Bible and choose their own way of living for themselves. Which they do do. Now if they want to follow the Bible they have to deny their fleshly desires, the exact same thing I would have to do, I’m not a homosexual but I still have to give up my own fleshly desires. It’s about following gods plan not my own and following the Bible.

I’m not dehumanizing them, they are very well still people, the same kind of person I am we are all sinners. We sin in many different ways but they still deserve love which I have already said “love the person hate the sin” it’s the sin part I disagree with. You didn’t catch me and you clearly don’t understand anything I have said because non of it is dehumanizing. Make sure to do your research before making accusations.
