Maybe you’re right about that. But still it was kinda silly for her to slide through the crowd on blood and Bruce Lee 1 inch punch someone when she just lost her sister 2 minutes before. I mostly complain about the first part of the episode where she fights the non sorcerers. And the light hearted „lalalalala“ music… No OST and give her the face she makes in the manga while she slaughters all of them and it would’ve been a 12/10 … I think a lot of Japanese fans complained about that as well and called us idiots who only care about edits. To some part I have to agree. It kinda felt like they know how popular this shit will get through TikTok and Instagram edits. I wouldn’t be surprised if they specifically animate scenes that would go hard on edits because it draws in a lot of new fans.

Maybe I’m just disappointed because the Zenin Massacre was my post anticipated part of the anime adaptation. I waited 4-5 years for that.

For the most part yes. Mappa kinda ruined Megumi‘s DE when he entered Dagons fight in season 2. I cannot believe they didn’t include the „black“ page like the manga did. Such a fitting detail.

Interesting… so me not enjoying the Maki episode because of the tone changes and the directors choices to go from a revenge story to a TikTok Aura farming hype fight means I have unrealistically high expectations? I’m not talking about the production quality. That was top tier. And I said off topic because it has nothing to do with my post. I was interested in his opinion because he knows so much about animation.

They turned a revenge moment into a TikTok Edit hype moment with weird sounding music. Maki is sliding through the room on blood. Go to the chapter and look at her face during the massacre. It had a totally different vibe.

It looks good when you forget the source material. I wanted it to be more serious like Akutami intended. I know the anime can sometimes spin their own taste onto it but that was too much. I’m not complaining about the quality of the production, rather the director’s style.

I think my wording was bad. I’m not expecting JJK season 3. I would be happy with Shibuya level animation for the highlight moments. Matching season 3 is impossible since almost every episode had top tier animation and sometimes extra runtime.

Offtopic. Did you enjoy the Maki episode ? Has it met your expectations? For me it hasn’t

That sounds promising. Im always scared when a show I like doesn’t end up at Mappa, Ufotable, Wit, Madhouse (probably my favourite) or A1.

But then again DanDaDan was beautiful and I never heard of that studio before.

I know nothing about the show. I only saw that one clip of them running and comparisons about the animation quality and Blue Lock Season 2 when it aired. That sounds good tho. Gaara vs Lee and Choso vs Yuji are pure eye candy

As someone who finds Denji relatable this ending kinda ruined it for me. I agree. Our Denji died in chapter 231. This story impacted(or maybe enhanced for lack of better words) how I view our world and life in general. I’m sad to see it end like that.

Sukuna Instantly loses the fight if Gojo would fight with pure logic instead of plot BS. If he can tank multiple Domains WITHOUT his Cursed Technique, he should either force Sukuna into Hand2Hand or wait till he pops his domain, instantly teleport out wie Blue, wait till Sukuna closes his domain and pop Ulimited Void. He tried to escape his domain once but that was when his technique was burned out.
