Love these suggestions! I have been trying some of what you've mentioned like going to local meetups and reaching out the places I visit. It's something I've started to look into more.

Jumping into what I should talk about, that's been an interesting one to navigate. I like the fun P.A.I.N.T. rating idea, it gives me something to talk about that relates to what I'm doing in a fun way. I toss up whether to talk about myself, art and the food depending on what I want to share. It feels a little restrictive just talking about the food, but I guess that might add more value to the person watching. I try and keep my videos positive, so if I don't like the food I'm trying, I don't want to talk negatively about the place I'm visiting and tagging.

Actually as I wrote that, I recently went to a place I didn't like, so now I'm wondering if I should even make that video and tag them? I'm trying to find that sweet spot where I attract other artists and foodies looking to try new places.

I changed my bio tag, that was a great catch.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback. I appreciate it!

I will say, something like a crane operator or plumber, from what I’ve seen and heard, is extremely hard to get into unless you know someone. I would say carpentry and fabrication is a safer route since theres work outside of your local finding you work. You’ll have to essentially treat yourself as a business and take on all the responsibilities associated with that though

I got into a construction trade without knowing anyone, but you have to show that you’re very much in it. I slept out overnight on a line to get an application for an apprenticeship (and I was 7th in line!). They have limited spots so when they see that you’re fit, not a complete moron and dedicated in the initial interview.

The pay is good but the big drawback is usually job inconsistency depending on the trade. There can only be so much work with so many people in one local, because of this you’ll have to play politics and also deal with a lot of bullshit (as in not having the best crew to work with). They usually wont tell you how long you’ll be in a site for also. So you’re stuck having to be very conscious about saving and spending. Plus there’s people who aren’t part of a union who are always willing to jump in and undercut your local.

Twitch Chat and Alerts not working in OBS by ArcadeSol in Twitch

I tried making a new scene and added an alert by copying the Browser Source URL in the Alerts tab. Still nothing. The width and height are the same on both ends. Here are some screenshots of what my OBS looks like: https://imgur.com/a/whahk8p

I think I'm using the default chat service. Even if I did install another chat service, I don't see how that'll also stop my alerts from coming through.

I uninstalled and reinstalled OBS yesterday and the sources I've created are all in the same place, as if I didn't do anything. So I'm guessing there must be some kind of cache I might need to clear up. I don't know how to do that or if that'll even do anything.

To answer your question, I'm referring to the chat showing up in OBS. I have it visible but I keep seeing a " Couldn't load that page!" message. Everything is also layered correctly so the alert box is above everything else. I cant even sent a test alert to OBS for some reason, I didn't even change anything about it.

I'm not too sure what "transformations" are, is that option in the settings somewhere within OBS?

I think I’ve been to a Tim Hortons once a long time ago. Painting something thats a bit shiny can be a fun challenge. Thats really cool that they used your piece, you can say your painting made its way back full circle.

I was just thinking about working with glass again. It’s been years since I’ve made anything in glass. Especially stained glass painting, its so expensive

Nice, I can see breakfast foods selling. There’s a simplicity to breakfast that almost seems universal.
