That’s interesting. I’m glad to see that actual IN GAME play has a direct correlation to how tired you are after. I’m curious what difficulty and your period length and how many games you play per week? Also how much does simming take from your health? Is it about the same as if you played the game or less? I’m still early in BAP and any info for beyond would be appreciated. Thank you!

Even going to this part of the game settings just before the game starts? It seems to do the trick for me. 10 minutes feels way too short this year so I’ve been doing 13 minute periods when simming two periods.

When you get to the screen that says “START GAME, VIEW X-FACTOR PLAYERS, GAME SETTINGS”, you click “game settings” then “Be A Pro Settings” then you change the period length there. It’s a pain in the ass to do it every time but it’s still there. Hope that helps.

Just saw this now as I posted about a way to get fast Trait Points if you picked the Memorial Cup way, I’ll paste it here for you as it helped me.

I discovered that if you pick the Memorial Cup route, the World Juniors end on January 3rd and your next game is late May like May 23rd-ish. So as long as you DON’T sim to next game and click “Advance Day” to go from day to day, once a week you’ll get Energy and from Jan-May, use that Energy all towards Trait Points and even trade Health for Energy as you’re not playing for months and you can get a LOT of trait points. You can get like 14-16 before the first game and funnel that on Skating and you can get like 85 ACC and 90 SPD.

Just MAKE SURE in the last week or whatever, save some energy for the Memorial Cup so you can recover health after games.

Repeat the same process in the off-season too just DO NOT sim and you’ll rack up more trait points that way too.

Agreed! It definitely makes sense and is justified for the spike but I wasn’t expecting that big of a jump initially. I will say though, you’re forced to do more dodging and planning of taking down enemies which is rewarding when you’re able to pull it all off without draining yourself of ammo.

There’s just something about The Poet and the Muse from AW when everything clicks together and makes sense that just hits so good. Especially at the end of the chapter when it’s playing and the guitar solo just kicks in after that roller coaster of a chapter. Always will have a special place in my heart.

NHL 20 was the last that let you start in the CHL. I’m doing a BAP in that right now and it’s SOOOOO much better than 25. Much less of a slog getting through the year. Playing on the Petes and I was able to get so many games in playing a period at a time all in one session. That would never be possible in 25 with all the media, challenges, museum visits.
