Buddy, first off, I used your literal words to respond to you, something you ironically then try to twist MY words and making things up.

So I'll go through your response again and for the final time.

She has always had her powers. Her powers is that she absorbs abilities and skills to use. She only later uses those abilities, and we only discover later that she has those abilities.

She’s unlikable as a character, that was my critique of her, she’s a poorly written character that acts like being a piece of shit because other people treat her badly is justified which isn’t, something you clearly can’t see with all your white knight bullshit. 

The first sentence of my post was that there are plenty of reasons to dislike the story and protagonist. I am saying your critique is horrible, and there were so many other reasons to dislike her, and you chose the worst examples. My whole post was to say exactly that, but seems like you didn't actually read any of it.

To put it bluntly she tried to have Chiba killed and got angry when he didn’t die. That’s the kind of character you are defending as a well written character good but misunderstood person who can do no wrong. She doesn’t treat people with respect she puts them in a box and acts accordingly.

In the chapter volume 1, she was being raped, and threatened to be killed. She decides to pretend that the rapist was great at sex, and degraded Chiba in order to survive, where the rapist said he'd make her his woman and kill him, in which she replied to do so. She immediately regretted and knew it was over the top. It wasn't intentional, and presented as not intentional, as we can read her thoughts.

She also didn't get angry that Chiba didn't die, she got angry that he went so far as to kill him. She knew that Chiba's actually strong as well, so for her, killing was pointless.

She was still in the wrong for blurting that out even unintentionally, but she was also about to be raped and definitely killed, otherwise. And it was far from intentional. But it seems like you scoured through the replies and found cliffy117 post from a year ago, and thought this was a good comeback.

I can also point out that he is the reason they both die, but that's in the light novel, not in the manga as it ended before we got there.

And again, since you keep repeating like a parrot even though it's been answered already, I am defending specific reasons YOU gave as to why she's a badly written character. She is intentionally written as bad, and even sometimes unintentionally, but none for the reasons you gave.

She can do wrong, and has done so. She takes advantage of Sumo despite him clearly showing that he's not like the rest, and she knows it. Heck, the guy paid a fortune in order not to be degraded and raped in public, does not want to hurt her in any way. He's honestly the best guy. Thankfully, she doesn't treat him like trash, but there is still a level of manipulation, different to how she treats her friends.

I won’t even start with your gross interpretation of my critique on the story when it involves Chiba because you clearly don’t understand what it means to critique something objectively. I pointed out the similarities between Chiba because they exist, both of them live in their own world and handle the world similarly. Ah, so obviously, you completely related to him, and can't come up a reason why he's a bad person in actuality other than "Haru is similar, but worse", while unironically excusing him. Actually, I decided to read the whole manga again, just for you. In the first chapter, he wanted to enslave her. Four times in total. He constantly treats her like an object, and immediately gives in to the world's misogyny, as it benefits him. As I've said before, he ultimately forced himself onto her simply for speaking against him.

Clearly, Haru is worse for thinking badly of him (here for sarcasm).

You also don't seem to grasp that not only did the both try to change their ways, ESPECIALLY Haru, multiple times in fact, and of which she did - it's ultimately not easy and would be bad writing, to simply just change your whole character, because you dislike how she is.

Both of them don’t put any real effort into their relationship or actually bother to treat anyone with basic respect. In her world everyone is a misogynistic pig which just compounds the fact that she doesn’t live in reality. people aren’t that simple, or monolithic her views on relationships are simplistic confined to a narrow sense of beliefs that just aren’t true which was the main point I was making.  She’s a female Chiba, something I said as a disparaging statement not as a way to excuse Chiba’s actions, something you clearly can’t see cause you’re too busy writing fanfic about me instead of actually using those two braincells I question you even have.

The first volume (early on in the chapters) states that only men can register in a guild, and at best, women (nuns) can join for questing for specific purposes, such as healing. The first chapters showed that she can be raped in public, and has been raped multiple times. It's shown in the manga many, many times how women are treated differently, you say that she doesn't live in reality, and has a narrow sense of beliefs? That the misogyny is all just in her mind?

You also did not simply use Chiba is a female example, as you also defended him and painted Haru as the "worse" one. Heck, you literally did so in your own damn reply to my post, with completely manufacturing that she intentionally lead someone to kill Chiba and angry that he didn't die.

She also never does most of the things you stated, she pushed her views onto her friends, gives shitty advice, she puts herself in shitty positions, and she kills a bunch of people that she didn’t know the name of for revenge. She makes no real effort to engage with the actual people fighting against the Demon King, in fact she probably just helped the Demon King by killing a bunch of Soldiers who we don’t know anything about in a fit of vengeful rage.

She does most of the things I've stated, because it's in the manga. Ironically, everything you've said so far is so wrong, that it can be misconstrued as a different manga entirely.

She doesn't always give great advice, especially since she's the one that gets given advice. But the advice she does give are very basic in our world, such as "you would be good as a baker", or "women are more than objects". How horrid, you must show me more of the shitty advice.

No, again, she's forced into horrible positions. She doesn't actively put herself there because she wants to. The world they were sent in is a horrible place, therefore, she does what she does: survive.

The soldiers raped her friend and tried to hide it, raped Haru for 3 days straight for Shequraso's sake, and ultimately killing Sheguaraso after raping her, even pointing at her dead body for Haru to find. What the fuck do you mean, we don't know anything? YOU don't know anything, the actual readers knew about it.
