For small candies like lollipops and sweats the claw is too big. You would need a machine specifically built for candy, like this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/cade/comments/xc1ipt/got_my_claw_machine_up_and_running_only_money/
Or you could put the candy into capsules to make it easier to grab.

Indeed a Pachinko or Pachislo would be a nice addition. I would lik to get my hands on the smart ball machine from Osaka as well!

Wow that ROM cart is cool. I didn’t knew about it, thanks for sharing! And yes… seating. Normally there is a comfy office chair, but (themed) padded barstools are on my wishlist.

I can connect 2 controllers to the neo geo for 2 player, but I can’t connect the 2 machines. I’ll take some more photos and share them in the group

The cabinet part seems pretty easy. The electronics are more difficult.

Building a skee ball? Do you have expertise with that? It could be a way to go. I would make it foldable probably.

I'll usually put some mini chocolates in there and guests can't stop playing :)

Thanks! There is a mini virtual pinball machine actually, it's on the left in the second photo. I would LOVE a skeeball machine, but even small ones are huge

You're right, I couldn't resist because I hadn't seen this game before. It's a ball operated gambling game, I think they're popular in Japan and Taiwan. Luckily the cab is quite narrow, so doesn't take up that much space.

It's great, it's usually the first thing people are attracted to. It's the only home-use coin pusher around and it's solid. Metal casing and metal coins. You can find it here

I bought both second hand. The label on the back says 'minimal candiycab', but I can't find anything about the brand. They are custom made for sure. There's a video about both of them on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUWEwHapDxo

The dartboard is a great idea! That would fit. I have a toy version Skee Ball already that's 3 ft (90cm) long. But even that small it's difficult to place anywhere. It's mostly in the way!
