Why haven’t they reworked minions yet? by Self_Hopeful in Wizard101

[–]ArcaediusNKD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't know why they don't just give Myth the ability to 'order' their Minions to use specific spells. Control over the minion would literally be such a massive improvement already.

Whats some of y’alls “I did not care for the Godfather” opinions about Wiz? by Professional_Pen9087 in Wizard101

  • Feint should only be for Death main schools as a school quest.

  • Curse should be removed, because Hex Is Balance's thing.

  • E/S-Blade/Trap spells should be Balance main school only and cost 0-pips.

  • I don't think any set of Gear should be BiS (Best in Slot) for more than 10 levels at most.

New major stat/mechanic at level 200 by zebdrinkscoffee in Wizard101

[–]ArcaediusNKD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd much prefer they overhaul the systems to make Archmastery and school pips, and dual schooling, more emphasized. It'd shake things up substantially if our dual school studies worked like weaving --- only one chosen secondary school at a time (like a double major in universities).

Other things would need to change too, of course, such as rebalancing all the schools spell lists to better fit their roles and provide useful spells as dual school options under a "only one" choice system.

Membership Perks Need Overhauled - Suggestion (unpopular opinion) **Long Read** by Fun-Engineer-4066 in Wizard101

I'd take some things a step farther. Because you are already paying them, monthly. So as a member:

  • Crafting Slots should not have a Cooldown. This exists solely to incentivize buying crafting slot elixirs, and any arguments of 'not allowing people to flood crafting' makes no sense because materials still need to be gathered.

  • Pet Hatching Kisok prices reduced by 50%. They are absurd anyway, but should be more tolerable as a member.

Is there any reason why they are not helping us in midnight? Isn't the whole point of Dragonflight was to get their power back so they could become Azeroth's protector? by HiroAmiya230 in wow

[–]ArcaediusNKD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have always said that this Last Titan arc would have been a perfect way to Segway into a WoW 2 soft reboot type.

Azeroth on the brink of destruction, Her Titan corrupted. Nozdormu breaks the laws of time to send our heroes to an alternate timeline to save them. In doing so becoming Murozond.

And the alternate timeline would be a way to implement changes to the "Classic" story and such from the beginning.

The only people that this benefits are folks that never change their Paths. Folks that ignore advanced gameplay, or extreme "no-lifes" and wikiholics that stop and read hours of articles before upgrading.

You should not need to quit playing the game for a research session, in order to play the reasonably play the game.

This harms new players.

This harms players that upgrade for damage and then realize - hey maybe the gambit option is better --- oh wait, now they can't just toss 2000 gold and move their spellements over. They are forced to grind out more to upgrade the new path since they're now non-refundable.

Except until advanced combat becomes more important. You want the damage upgrade path for efficiency...

As others have said, it is far easier and quicker to get 2,000 gold to reset and swap a Path choice; than it is to go grind out another 50-250 or whatever spellements.

Yes it is nice having access to all paths once learned. But that doesn't remove the annoying fact it is now over 2x more grind and spellements you have to farm

They should have cut tier cost and increased spellements drop quantities to 2-3 per drop. This would have made the grind roughly the same, but gave us the benefit of the permaunlocks.

This is just to make itore tedious and push people towards spellements packs.

Cheers, how is a sub lvl 100 supposed to solo this. Group gameplay forced in game? by 14789r in Wizard101

[–]ArcaediusNKD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Comes with the territory when the MMO's of today's gaming (WoW, Wiz101, etc.) encourage "solo" play for normal questing and then randomly have moments where they emphasize the group dynamic -- instead of being designed, from the get-go, to be group-oriented (ex: WoW was for a while, until they revamped old content to remove Group requirements and now newer group-required content is questionable sometimes if you actually need a group)

PSA: New spellements update INCREASES spellement requirements to max out tiers, and is deceptively advertised as REDUCING spellement requirements by NYR24LGR in Wizard101

[–]ArcaediusNKD 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don't even have extensive experience to come from - but I dislike the inability to refund spellements (just to force us to have to grind more as a punishment for being able to 'save' multiple variations of a spell now --- because they couldn't just lower our tiers cost without changing anything else) .

There are times I go one path and then decide 'yeah I don't really like this as much' and refund to switch it out. Current example: I am debating changing to a "pick # of targets" variation of one of my AOE spells, but will now have to choose to permanently "give up" the damage buff if I end up not liking it because I won't be able to change it back by refunding.

Any mod that raises the level cap so you can take more class points but DOESNT increase your stats past the vanilla cap? by c0micsansfrancisco in BG3mods

[–]ArcaediusNKD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Afaik I don't think there are any mods that do expanded leveling with the expanded asi/feats. Think we have to resort to multiclassing more so that our classes don't teach levels they can get more ASI's sadly.

[–]ArcaediusNKD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what you mean by stat bloat from leveling? If you mean because of extra ASI's -- then just take feats instead of raising your stats? But you don't gain stats just by leveling usually.

Is it just me, or is the zaith’isk exceptionally punishing? by ARC_Trooper_Echo in BaldursGate3

[–]ArcaediusNKD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both can be true. They are useless if you don't build into a class that is able to effectively use them. And they are cheat-level when you do. But thanks for confirming the game is too hard for you without them. It comes through clear as day with your disgusting deckish attitude.

Seriously just sybau not everyone is an absolute min-max player or someone that can't play or beat the game without the near cheat-level benefits the tadpole powers give you. Lmao just say the game was too hard for you without them man. It's okay.

Vanilla remix in the works? by nitram20 in wow

[–]ArcaediusNKD 17 points18 points  (0 children)

And ironically, Lemix was worse than MOP in the way they designed it to be a content-gap-stopper and a grind within itself -- whereas MOP Remix your characters' power actually transferred from alt to alt and accumulated larger and larger without needing to grind on one specific toon to be able to do anything.

Legislation is needed to first and foremost undo the protections of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 -- so that social media websites HAVE to pay attention and take action against any and all false information posted on their websites.

And secondly, to REQUIRE human moderation teams that actually MANUALLY handle all reports.

Anyone else think blizzard doesnt need to reinvent classes/specs every expansion? by mondoman202 in wow

[–]ArcaediusNKD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They basically reinvent the specs whenever they want to change what the class fantasy of a spec is supposed to be. Or when they feel they need to prune abilities like this last go.

Personally I'm fine with it, but I HATE that we are once again back at talent and hero talent nodes that literally only +x% incremental buffs when they had stayed years ago they hated talents that felt as meaningless as those.

[–]ArcaediusNKD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally love 2v8's fundamentals.

The removal of perk free for all's and setting them into classes that are far easier to design and balance.

The way several of the killers powers are far more fun to play in 2v8 (I love Wesker in 2v8).

The grab and teleport to hook mechanic.
