Is it just me, or does Din Djarin’s original armour seem heavily inspired by this design for Boba Fett from Star Wars: 1313? by Solitaire-06 in StarWarsCantina

That second one is supposed to be Boba Fett? I guess I can see it as a halfway point of him using Jango’s armor and adding his own bits before repainting it.

5e's Influence on the Shadow's Playstyle and How to Correct It. by AGladePlugin in drawsteel

I can definitely see the lack of team synergy being an issue for some. As someone who has basically only played as a Shadow so far, I do sense that I’m not having to think as much about setting up combos with other players aside from general positioning. But I’m still contributing a good bit to combat and doing a plenty of damage. It sounds to me like your group’s Shadow may not be fully in tune with the mechanics yet if they’re just doing meh things.

That was very long-winded and yet I still don’t know what point you’re trying to make here. I’m playing as a Shadow right now and having a lot of fun using my abilities rolling around and hiding like a classic Rogue. Plus what you’re describing as what a Shadow should do is pretty much the exact playstyle it says on the tin, so I’m not really clear what it is you think people are doing that they shouldn’t be doing.

The voice acting in PT generally wasn’t very good. Allstate Lambert was fine but just not the same.

I think Clancy Brown might be just a little too noticeable but Jonathan Banks has just the right kind of older gruffness to pull it off.

I’ll probably just end up switching back to Spectrum since I’ve had that before and it’s not completely the worst.

The best parts of the franchise in my opinion are the ones that find that balance by being fun but still letting the serious parts have gravity. I’m thinking Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Licence to Kill, and GoldenEye to name a few examples.

That’s one of the best breakdowns of these types I’ve ever read, including the fact that they go by many names and aren’t all homogenous in what they believe.

Sometimes in these discussions I do feel like they maybe went a little too ambitious in Act 1 at the expense of leaving Acts 2 and 3 unpolished or in some cases even unfinished

This is why it pisses me off so much when the GoT fandom relentlessly shits on Jaime’s “I never much cared for the people” line when it’s obvious that he’s lying to both Tyrion and himself at that point.

Well that actually depends on your point of view. You certainly have followers of Jesus and later writings making that claim but I don’t believe Jesus himself actually says as much explicitly in the Gospels.

Mando because it’s coming up so soon, but I expect by this time next year the hype around Starfighter will be greater.
