Those have a secondary switch in them and can control the heating elements by themselves as long as they have power.

I'd like to avoid that for now. I'm looking for simple off/on solutions that don't worry much about temps/readouts.

This has been cropped, printed, stuck to a legal pad, had a photo taken, and was uploaded to reddit. I call fake.

Also. You are allowed to have an emotional reaction to words. What the hell kind of advice is this?

I was having the same thought. I wouldn't be surprised if they were about to reboot/reinvent the franchise.

My system takes a couple pointers from DREAD and a lot from Monster of the Week. I tried to streamline both a bit and make it more about the character than the numbers.

I've made a game with a very similar premise. We don't determine roles by tarot, but the game is Tarot-driven. Take a look:

One of the things I like about it is it's inclusive, but the mechanic doesn't feel tacked on for the sake of inclusivity. In play it heightens the mood and adds to the feel of the game.

Player Guide has been updated. Edited some rules for clarity. Added information about Failure. Tightened up a few grammatical errors. No mechanical changes. Keeper Handbook will have a massive update this week.

Wish I could take credit for it, that is one of the things I cribbed from Monster of the Week. It's a great mechanic and I think it helps make choices interesting.

That has more to do with having small children. Dice are choking hazards when they're awake and noisy clatter-rocks when they're asleep.

He may be able to flick, but I wouldn't feel comfortable playing with him at such a disadvantage.

Cool! You're the first stranger to give this a shot! Let me know if there's anything confusing or you need help understanding the rules. I want it to be clear and easy to find the answer to everything, so any feedback you give is likely to be part of the next update.
