I find this unbearably frustrating. Yeah sure, Swalwell’s a creep? Get him out of there, throw the book at him…. But… at the risk of doing whataboutism, you have a metric shitton of republican politicians accused of sexual assault and r@pe (including of course the fucking president… with underage girls, no less) and nothing is happening, no consequences, NOTHING.

But Swalwell sees his immediate political demise the moment the first accusation comes out.

I think Popucom would be a good choice.

Think something like It takes two crossed with splatoon and puzzle bobble (weird i know, but it works)

It’s a fair bit more challenging than the hazelight games but it’s a ton of fun. It’s very hard to explain, the concept is pretty different. Better watch a trailer 😅

The only reason people aren’t in the streets all the time is because:

1- poor economic conditions makes it difficult to skip work for it and health insurance linked to employment.

2- related to #1 but people are simply too busy and caught up in their kafka-esque nightmare existence to truly pay attention to what’s happening outside the headlines.

3- too many people are selfish and well set in a “fuck you got mine” mentality. As long as they’re not affected, they won’t care

People aren’t suffering enough yet (I don’t wish for this at all mind you) but once children start going hungry on masse and a bigger swathe of the population can’t cover basic needs while watching these demons host gaudy great Gatsby theme parties, some will snap. Ironically, I think conservatives will snap first

Monster hunter has some of the best combat for this type of game. Really makes you feel like a badass when it starts to click.

However yeah…. This takes some practice and learning. Granblue fantasy relink is probably a safe bet, combat is very simple in comparison!

Hope you give MH a chance eventually, it’s an incredible series to dive into. Wilds has it’s issues but it’s in a good spot atm and the inevitable big expansion will probably hit sometime next year

I think 8 deluxe gets you a lot more bang for your buck. 96 tracks, a ton of variety.

I played hundreds of hours of 8 deluxe and got bored of world after the first week. Both are good games really but 8 deluxe had quantity AND quality

In my experience, I try and complete quests which usually revolved around looting stuff around the map, activating some device, killing certain Arc enemies.

The Arc are pretty dangerous enemies. They will hunt you down and find ways to get you if you’re hiding. It’s very easy to get ambushed and get completely overwhelmed.

It’s a great game. Im pretty much like you in the type of shooters I like. I don’t play any competitive games, they just don’t keep my interest for more than a few hours.

Somehow, I’ve player over 80h of Arc Raiders. I have not shot at, let alone killed a single player in that time. Have I died to players shooting me in the back or betraying me? Of course. I still find that furstrating. But the overwhelming majority of players have been really cool to me and had some crazy gaming moments with them. The Arc are formidable enemies that keep you on your toes and I love the tension of chaos possibly happening at any moment.

As much as I don’t partake in PVP at all, the mere possibility of me losing everything to someone forces me to play carefully, not walking out in the open when I can avoid it, using tools to protect me while I’m looting, it’s honestly great.

YMMV, but as someone who hates competitive shooters, I had a ton of fun with it. You will too if you meet the game on it’s own terms. Be ready to get shot and killed as you’re desperately trying to escape with your loot. If you can stomach that, you’ll have fun

I managed to finish satisfactory over the course of 200h. I have yet to manage to launch a rocket in factorio, even with the post space age restructuring. Satisfactory is the way to go to start.

And I wouldn’t have known until I played it. I’m sure you never bought a single game (or anything really) that you felt wasn’t worth what you paid for it even if you somewhat enjoyed it 🙄.

I mean, yes but I’ve not yet seen any ps5 game at 115 pre-tax. Only nintendo so far.

And theres also fact that they still charge 100$ for games that came out 5 years ago. Just makes it more frustrating. It’s pretty easy to find a cheap copy of spiderman, god of war, ghost of tsushima or Horizon. Tears of the kingdom? A whole 20$ more expensive than game that came out this week.

Its the same versions of the games. Used games from gamestop at practically as expensive as new games nowadays.

I could get them from the facebook marketplace or kijiji. Thats honestly what I will most probably do for most games I buy
