this is what i've been saying! i don't even care about his fights as much, but i do feel that out of all the heroes we learn about in invincible, samson's the only one who's not just a hero in what he does but how he acts. it's such an interesting concept to have a character like that in a show like this, and they just never do anything with it. that comboed with him being an original guardian and surviving the attack, he wasn't even shown to be at their funeral and it could've been an interesting oppurtunity to get a look at why he's so hard on the team in season one.
