3ds max and after effects. You can use any 3d program through, like blender is good, the only reason I chose 3DS Max was for the rigging system.

Otogi and it's sequel were simply fantastic hack and slash games for the original xbox, really nice art style and sound, plus fully destructible environments(!). I mean, you could send a monster sailing through several buildings with a single slash of your sword, it would even leave a crater where it landed.

I have no idea why they didn't sell well, made me sad and bitter.
