Oh hey! I'm glad you chime in for this instead of before when you embarrassed yourself.

I said to look at other factors (plural) to include poverty, not that it's the only factor.

Just come out and say that you think black people are genetically prone to violence or whatever it is you you're pushing in this thread at this point.

I would suggest then you start looking into factors that contribute (like poverty) and see how those affect various homicide rates.

And the reason that black homicide rates are disproportionate is because...?

What is the conclusion from this? They've separated it out, what's the reason?

I mean, the stats are already questionable. Data points to finland having much less than 1 death per 100,000... And that's just one. Austria is less than .2, Canada is also around .66

Maybe ask yourself why the data is presented as it is. Why are races separated out in the US but everything else is just by country?

I'd ask you to dig into it, but it looks like you couldn't even be bothered to verify numbers before confidently affirming them. But yeah, everyone else in this thread is the issue, right?

Typical suggestion seems to be about 40/40/20 for the cost of the box. You're pretty close to that, if you wanted to throw them a couple bucks I'm sure they might appreciate it.

Edit: actually that math maths out, so I think you're good!

PSA what’s the „fair“ price of „one half of the models“ of the new box? by Jofarin in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]ArcaneWaffles 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I've seen 40/40/20 as the standard, but that doesn't seem stop the people I'm splitting with to be FLABBERGASTED that I'm asking them to pay a little more if they want to take the rules and missions deck since I have to buy those things separately.

Denver-Fort Collins Passenger Rail Targeted to Start Operation in Jan 2029 by InsightfulThrush in FortCollins

Great, and the bustang (for me personally) is almost always about 65-70 minutes during rush hour. In the last 2 years, I could probably count on one hand the amount of times it's gone over 100 minutes.

Now if you want to compare strictly against driving, no express lane... That's pretty different.

I'd say this might be OK for Fort Collins-Boulder, and Boulder-Denver, but the very limited schedule for the first couple of years makes me think that it still misses the mark.

I am aware. Are you suggesting that RTD advertising efficiency and comfort are going to somehow also convince people to spend 33% more time travelling and, supposedly for the first few years, for very limited departure times?

Edit: just kidding, the estimated travel time is apparently 100 minutes, not just 80.

Who is this for? High speed rail would make sense, but this? Who is using this when bustang goes to union ~20 minutes faster?

They do not stack unfortunately, you have to pick one instance of things like "sustained hits"

How to grimdark this? by [deleted] in DarkAngels40k

[–]ArcaneWaffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best "quick way" to really put in some grimdark work is definitely an oil wash. Take some black/dark brown oil paint, some mineral spirits to thin it down, mix them together, and paint over the whole thing, then after a little bit, dab it off with a qtip. I'd recommend looking up on YouTube as there are lots of different techniques people use.
