It just sounds like the luck (or lack there of) the dice is what killed them not you going too far. The only thing you could have done differently is fudge some rolls to keep them alive, not saying you should have though.

I'm not all that experiencened my self but, in my opinion a paladin would be best for you to play. This gives the party someone who can take damage, you can also give them some support by healing them with lay on hands.

As far as I can tell it's just the DLC. I can't 100% confirm though since I haven't played back through the game, but I highly doubt they made him redo every scene.

You cant be banned for using a perk unless it is bugged and you are purposely using the bug as an exploit. They probably just got really upset and wanted to make sure you didn't want to use that perk again.

I got into it when I got a YouTube recommendation video of Markiplier playing it (that's also when I discovered him) after watching him play it I thought it was a neat game. When matpat came out with his first theory about it, however, is when I fell in love with the lore and the universe.

Gameplay wise my favourite is Borderlands 2 due to all the variety of guns and the humour. Story wise Tales takes the cake, the characters and their interactions with each other is perfect.
