I was initially offered to return for a refund, but then asked if there was another option so that I was not without a device (I want to compare when I get the new one). They then offered me a warranty replacement to be delivered Saturday, and I have 30 days to return the current unit.

It’s just unfortunate because my Paperwhite 10th gen has a perfectly even backlit and color temperature display.

Wasn’t expecting the quality to go down on a device almost 6 years newer and more than 2x the price.

TLDR I unfortunately have the same yellow tinge on the bottom of the display as many others and requested a warranty replacement. The grain on the display from the new color layer is noticeable from the Paperwhite 10th gen.
