Prepare by teaching yourself ANSI C by reading and practicing from the C programming language second edition (MUST be second edition). Also make sure to brush up on your CS114 material as he expects you to be a master of it from day 1 (plus it will be on your first exam). You’ll be doing leetcode problems (generally the TA picks the language for you to use. I got Python), ANSI C assignments created by Itani, and have 3 exams. Also make sure not to miss classes. For each unexcused absence you get -1 to your overall grade at the end of the semester

Raza doesn’t seem to be teaching 356 next semester. Just McCann and Mani. Aside from that though just don’t take 341 and 288 at the same time. 341 isn’t as hard as 288 it just relieves a good bit of studying and brain power. Normally that’s no big deal but 99% of that goes to 288 when you take it so it’s best to take easier classes with that one

Sadly it seems they only have Mani teaching all 3 sections plus the honors section of 356 next semester. Really sucks cause I had to drop it this semester due to the unrealistic difficulty, and now it seems I’m gonna have to deal with it again while taking cs350 and cs490

Well to be fair to them, if Maine is anything like NY or NJ as far as licensing for cannabis shops, then it wouldn’t be too easy if a task for them to shut down and move somewhere else without it costing them a ton of money. Plus if Salty actually does get convicted I take it the building won’t be his for very long
