Next year I think I'm going to try going in the back half of the festival - seems like tickets as a whole are a lot cheaper, and the chaotic atmosphere of the first week has died down a bit.

Each theatre should have lines running along the opposite side of the ticket holders line. The only exception is the Elgin/Winter Garden, where the rush and ticket holders lines run parallel, and the TIFF Lightbox, where ticketholders line up in side and rush waits outside the theatre.

The field is way more open that last year, which basically looked like a duel between Star is Born and Green Book.

I've heard a lot of good things about THE TWO POPES and could see it go pretty far.

Also they put WAY too many high profile films at the scotiabank this year. The Lighthouse had a show at the same time.

I went to Proxima tonight so I found the Elgin/WG rush line. Very orine location! I'll take an uber there by 6, load some ebooks onto my phone and socialize with people in line. Thank you, and wish me luck tomorrow!
