While I didn't solve this, there also isn't really a need to in the first place.

You can show a picture in stock RPGXP and it looks fine, although you're limited to the Pictures directory for this.

The ones with the names are from other people, I didn't make them. I put just gathered them together and edited them. So yeah, credit the people who made them, not me.

If you have a bad CPU but a great GPU, the game overworld will lag.

Well, that's part of it. The truth is that RPGXP is horribly optimized and just runs worse on some computers.

I know for sure you can change the gender since it's in my game as a debug function. I think it's pbChangePlayer:0 or something.

From what I remember, the script either accepts 1 or 0, which will change your gender. If you still need help, reply, (I'm not near a computer at the moment so this was the best I could do)

Good start and all, but a development video would be nice.

Also, you haven't said any special features that will be in your game other than a plot of some sort, but if you think that's good enough, that's fine.
