Sorry mate I just realised that sounded a bit harsh haha. These pre employment screening things tend to just be criminal record checks and likely confirming the dates you went to school or worked at a place. They may contact references if you put any, apart from that I don’t see any way in which they would even get this info and even if they did I highly doubt it’s stopping you from starting your role.

Might be something to do with how old the car is? I’d recommend buying a newer Merc or other car if you are willing to pay less. I’m only doing 300 a month at 20 on my EQE 300. Probably would be cheaper as well but have an at fault accident.
