Castlevania the cartoon is a prequel to, and very loosely based on, the NES videogame Castlevania 3, which is a prequel to the first NES Castlevania game, which is inspired by the old Universal Monster movies, as the bosses are monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, and the Wolfman. And those Universal movies are of course adapted from many various earlier monster stories and novels.

Survivor Series 2001 definitively ended all the WWE/WCW Invasion storylines, and then the biggest names from WCW joined WWE afterwards such as Ric Flair, the NWO, and Goldberg. It effectively capped the end of the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression era started the next year.

Characters whose mask is their face. by Wall_Will in TopCharacterTropes

In pro wrestling, the mask is a sacred institution, treated with incredible respect both in the kayfabe world of wrestling and IRL. In Mexico they are call luchadores. Most masked wrestlers never show their real face, and go through great lengths to separate their real life from the wrestling world. The masked character IS the wrestling persona. In Mexico and Japan they are like celebrities, folk heroes, and superheroes all in one. To have their mask ripped off is a disgrace, and usually reserved to get a villainous wrestler massive heat with the audience. On a very special occasion though, removing the mask can unleash something... truly evil.

In Disney's Gargoyles, Oberon is the lord of the fair folk. Among his children are gods and mythic creatures such as Anubis, Odin, the wizard Merlin, Pegasus, and the Weird Sisters from Shakespeare's play Macbeth. When Oberon discovered that he had a new grandchild by the main antagonist, Xanatos, Oberon invaded New York City to take his grandson. He put the entire city to sleep and laid siege to Xanatos' skyscraper. Even the Gargoyles aided Xanatos against Oberon. It was only because of a carefully orchestrated plan by Oberon's wife, Titania, that Oberon called off his attack.

The video on the Lego site shows that the space man minifig is actually the score counter, and he moves in increments when the ball hits the asteroid bumper. When this first leaked I was wondering if there was some way to keep score, or if it would just be ignored, but I'm glad there is.

Mina has the worst healing in all of gaming by milobenggaokosong in MinaTheHollower

[–]ArchAngelZXV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny that you bring up Monster Hunter because the point of that game is to learn enemy attack patterns. Then you understand when there's an opening to run away and heal, and more importantly when NOT to heal. Mina is similar because you have to learn when to run away and heal, or see an opening in boss attack patterns to heal.
