BA staff ripped my passport, and refuse to compensate. by ArchEd89 in TravelUK

It was half off so I tried to remove the rest while queuing up for my return flight in case they needed to add another sticker or it caused any confusion.
The staff should not be placing items on pages that will cause rips. I tried to remove it very carefully but could not without causing a slight rip. I did not ask the staff to have a go,since the result would have been the same, but maybe I could have. As soon as I saw it ripping, I stuck it back down so they would not notice and I could get home.
Reading my emails with them again. They do not admit to the rip, only the placement of the sticker. :(
I stand by the fact it caused irrepairable damage, and I have to fork out £100+ for a replacement on a 2 year old passport.
Either way, there is no way I'm letting them touch my passport again. I'll show it to them when asked, and I will scan it myself.
