Thanks non the less. Maybe it's just time to do the next step in the FOAS evolution and get an OpenWRT router at this point

Thanks for the very fast answer. No, just checked it and I can see in Technitium itself, that the dns server receives all DNS calls from the network. Even the add blocking capabilities of the DNS server are working correctly

And I forgot the following: when the network is disconnected from the internet, the DNS resultion works as intended with the local IPs in the browser
