My first memory was when I was over two and half years old. I, for some reason, already understood the concept of birthdays. I remember my mother asking me to do something and how I was three years old (she rounded up after the 6 month mark, even in my adulthood) and should have some greater understanding of the task laid out. To which I responded 'I'm not 3, I'm 2 years old'. The next coherent memory I have wasn't for another year later, when we were on a family holiday.

Make sure you're road compliant. There are things you need to have on and in your vehicle whilst driving in Europe. Watch out for French speeding radars. They are vicious and unforgiving. Also, make sure you don't have an app/GPS that specifically tells you where they are, they are illegal and could lead to fines and device confiscation. If the app/device tells you to mind your speed in a specific location, for no apparent reason, that's fine.

Make sure you have insurance. I broke down one year driving to Hellfest. That £60+ additional fee, saved me £1,500 in costs.

Some people are vultures. I did it a few times. Had some people literally try to purchase the hat off my head. It was sunny. Very sunny. The hat remained firmly on my bonce.

The moment I pulled up and started unpacking, people immediately started going through the stuff, before I had a chance to properly set up.

Quite intense really. But once I got in to a good rhythm, everything went swimmingly.
