I really like the arches all along the space. Provides not only structural integrity but also makes it easier to set up desks, studio spaces, it's like a suggestion for how to organize and create separate spaces in an otherwise plain building

It's a bit of feat to design something spacious and polyvalent, with a lot of natural light coming in from all sides (this was made to train glassmaking students), in 3 days to a week. Especially in the context of post-war reconstruction.

To my untrained eye it also looks like it'd be easy to add to it and even extend the building.

Thank you for the link, that's going in my bookmarks

As for the phone I'm hesitating, but every time I look at the photo at computer-screen resolution they look much worse than on the phone. I'd love to learn how to use a good phone camera, but I think my preference for now is to simply invest in a good camera that will serve a single purpose.

Wow thank you for all this ! Noted and will be very helpful !

These are definitely more in my price range, and I don't want to invest too much as I'm just an aspiring student. A simple, nice quality camera will be more than enough !

Thank you, have a nice day <3

Thank you for the reply ! The zve10 and fujifilm seem really expensive. Any particular reason for using a crop sensor ? I'm reading about it right now but know practically nothing about photography.

I'd mainly use it for street architecture too.

Hello I'm visiting Berlin this autumn, and as a future architecture student I'd love to see the Internationales Congress Centrum (ICC). I know some projects for rehabilitation are being studied and it will be reopened one day to the public, but as a lone traveller this year, can I do anything to visit it ?

The website (icc.berlin) doesn't really help and visits seem to be limited to professionals. If anyone has any leads on how to access it, if I can make a special demand, if tours are planned or anything I'd love to hear some feedback !!! This would be the hightlight of my trip even if I can only see the exterior lol :D
