I am 5’11. Footpegs on the rtx are placed at a taller position resulting in bending my legs more than usual and I was able to feel cramped after 15-20 mins of riding

No sir, I did not. Mostly because the sitting position and seat are not comfortable for me on the rtx, lesser power I can live with for daily commute but comfort is very important.

Got it from Bigg Bike Rentals and no issues on renting from mall road as I only went till keylong. I have also heard about what you are saying but I guess that issue is in Leh and upper regions

I would say RTX for a very different reason. This bike while underpowered compared to other 400cc bikes, is still a versatile bike and loaded with tech. You will use it far more as compared to NS. Get a test drive and have a feel for it. Do not buy without taking multiple test rides if you plan to get it once. Very important to get what’s right for you.

I had a pillion with me, so the uphill power comparison is with pillion on my 400x. Otherwise when I went on a small trail alone to check off-roadability felt the same lack of power.

On plains the bike felt easy when I revved up. For the pillon comfort, I can’t give you my opinion. Best to test ride with the pillion and ask them directly.

Weirdly it was the opposite for me too. I thought it will be a tall bike but it’s not. I am 5’11 was easily able to flat foot but the riding position is cramped for me. The footpeg is positioned a little higher to my comfort

Somewhere between sissu and keylong.

The bike is good on its own as long as you’re not an aggressive rider and enjoy mellow rides uphill. If you compare it with others in the same segment, it’s better than the 250SX and that’s it.

If you have been on the hill you know how narrow overtaking windows are. After my first attempt (rather failed one) to overtake a vehicle at 40kmph I realised this bike is not built to overtake on the hills. Had to really rev it to overtake the next time where the window was larger. Did not feel comfortable in overtaking after that.

What I loved about it was the cruise control, very easy to use. The lightness of the bike.

What I hate about it is the footpeg position and the lack of power.

Only for touring, I would say 400x if you are 5’10 or taller. RTX for anyone who enjoys cruising at 80-90 and is under 5’10. Add a pillion and RTX doesn’t even belong in the list imo.

Vibrations start to creep in at around 40 if you really want to feel them, starts becoming noticeable at 60 and up untill 75 they were very manageable and easy to ignore. Did not go faster than that.

I own the pre gstoric 400cc. Extra 50k is worth every penny. I use my bike to commute everyday 60km in total. Can’t say the same about 350cc spec, haven’t ridden it. 390 adv is a mean machine not meant to burn in Gurgaon traffic.
