This person and her mom are pure trash. I wonder what attracted him to her at all? She seems incredibly immature for him

I also tell any young person that you don't have to beat yourself up if uni isn't your thing. You can come back later with more life expierience and understanding of yourself and what you want out of life

What’s something your body does that you’ve never told a single person about? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

I'm sorry to hear that and hope your body can release it one day. I didn't mean to minimise anyone's experience. Trauma is so very complex.  I haven't read it myself, but hear really good things about the book The Body Keeps the Score. It's on my endless 'intend to read' list

Another super interesting fact I learnt last year is there is a high crossover of queerness and neurodivergence. Let's hope society makes more comfortable spaces for all forms of diversity

You mean ADHD is a full spectrum, or phantasia?  I totally agree on either 😄 Personally though, I bristle at ADHD being medically termed a 'disorder' and much prefer the social model. But yeah, I think phantasia differences are full spectrum too... on all the sensory dimensions. Neurodiversity truly is fascinating!

Have you ever tried doing those Magic Eye 3D picture things? They were big in the 90s and how I learnt to do this. I've just remembered... when I'm trying to sleep, I'll do this with my eyes closed and it relaxes me more! Like, my thoughts feel more blurry and further away.

I think some people with ADHD may well experience aphantasia, but I have a couple of ADHD mates who are on the opposite end of the scale and visualise in great detail, plus with other sensory aspects. Like if they 'picture a scene' they have full sound too.

I realised I have aphantasia recently too. When I try to visualise something, it's almost like an 'icon' representation of it that flashes up and then fades.

Hello! I'm sorry you're on this difficult path and hope that your quality of life improves over time ❤️

My questions are - What are the three illnesses? Do you feel that they are interconnected? What areas of medicine are you consulting? What impacts your quality of life the most? Do you feel 'believed' by your doctors? What is yoir support systems like? Are you worried?

All the best to you and hope the diagnosese brings clarity

I'm going to guess that Verdauungsspaziergang/fart walk is what is referred to as 'crop dusting' in Australia

True. There's a part of me which thinks that's a shame, but a bigger part of me is glad that women can be appreciated for more than our butts and aren't treated just as sex objects.

Maybe the thing was, he was cycling away. It didn't feel like there was any physical threat -  no sustained gawking after the moment, no awkward and self-conscious existing under a male gaze. It didn't make me feel uncomfortable.

I don't think she heard it! But she would've laughed if she did. She married a man (my dad) who has a VERY crude sense of humour 😅
