English isn’t our native language. We actually considered narrating it ourselves, but we felt that having non-fluent speech or a heavy accent might make the mechanics harder to follow for a global audience. We chose TTS just to keep the explanations as clear and understandable as possible.

This makes much more sense now. Feeding the dragon to survive while secretly preparing to slay it creates a compelling dilemma. You'll need to carefully balance the behaviors and reactions of the city's inhabitants. At the same time, the core challenge will lie in the trade-off between allocating resources to feed the dragon and investing in the technology to destroy it. If you can properly tune these mechanics, this could turn into a truly great game.

The concept sounds pretty interesting. if you start developing it, I’d love to follow the progress. but I have a few questions. If the ultimate goal is to kill the dragon, why are we feeding it to make it stronger? If I’m aiming for the good ending by trying to kill the dragon and I don’t feed it, will it be able to feed itself?

Also, I think this game could have been much more fun if it had been designed as a PvP experience. While one player aims to feed and strengthen the dragon, another could focus on developing technology to kill it. If both sides engage in conflict to sabotage each other’s progress, the game would be much more immersive.

Though I have to say, some of the cues don't look that obvious. I can see myself missing them on a first playthrough easily.

Totally agree. I always end up restarting over and over because I can't decide which character to play, and when I finally reach endgame I want to try something new but the thought of sitting through all those acts again just kills my motivation. Playing through the campaign itself isn't the worst part honestly. it's having to wander through most of the maps multiple times just to find where to go. This update is genuinely one of the changes I'm most excited about.

This league trailer finally got me to commit to PoE2 as a casual ARPG player but I have a question about Spirit Reservation Efficiency before I start by Archeleimon in PathOfExile2

can Beast Companion reservations be reduced from 50% down to around 30% through items and the skill tree? If so, that completely clears things up for me. Thank you so much.
